    I’m glad to hear you like the extension ??

    We’re currently designing the logic of how the PO entry can work in a simple and effective way for users not using the purchase order function that comes in the extension. It’s one of the top priorities, as incoming stock is a main kpi in the calculations.

    In the current design you can manually enter this, or use the Purchase Order function (see image below) that is built in the extension. (I have added some more information here) That might be the easiest and quickest way as a workaround.

    With regards to the variations – yes, we do all calculations on a variation level, up to 5 levels (for example product / colour / size would be 3 levels and we generate the order proposals on the lowest level, in the example above on size)

    Hope I understood your question, please let us know if there’s anything else ??

    Hi,

    Our plugin works without any problem with Bulky Product editor. Any ‘standard’ WooCommerce measure or value that you update in Bulky will also be updated in our extension, as in the example below, when changing of updating product stock values:

    We do however have some unique parameters you can only manage in our extension, such as supplier, lead times, weeks of stock and for example cost prices;

    To answer your second question; we create order proposals using current stock, incoming stock and your store’s sales forecast.

    At the moment, we do not integrate incoming PO’s, but you can create these in the Purchase Order pages in the extension. Alternatively, you can update incoming stock manually in the ‘Manage Inventory’ page (see image below) We do have integrations to import PO’s in our roadmap and plan to release this shortly.

    (you’ll find more information about all features on our support site)

    I hope this helps – please let us know if you have any other questions.-

    Hi

    thanks for your comment and you’re right, these numbers seem a bit off. But I think there might be an explaination for this;

    We use different algorithms depending on the age or lifecycle of the products. The choice for which algorithm to use is mainly driven by the date that is set for what we call ‘product launch date’.

    Initially, we use the WooCommerce ‘publish date’ (see screenshot above) to determine the Product Launch Date, but you can overwrite these dates in the Product management pages:

    It can happen that these dates are set to 1970.01.01, for example if you have uploaded products into WooCommerce tables from one database to another.

    In that case, the engine picks these items up as products with an extremely long lifecycle and the forecast will be too low. Updating the Product Launch Date should in this case do the trick.

    On out merchant support site, you can find some more information on how the forecast is calculated and what parameters you can change to impact the results: https://merchants.shelfplanner.com/faq/

    I hope this answers your question. Please let us know if you have any other thoughts ??

    Hi,

    thanks for testing our plugin, and thanks for your patience while our engine was processing the data to generate a forecast.

    If no data is shown in the stock performance report, it is most likely because the Cost Price for products is not entered yet.

    The idea is to show all order proposals are shown in both units and cost price, and by supplier.

    You can easily bypass this step by ticking the box ‘Include all items w/o Cost Price, in the Setting/Forecast Settings page. This should populate all tables and reports.

    Please also find some more information on the user guide;

    Initially we did calculate the sales forecast and ideal stock on the plugin side, but due to performance challenges, we have moved this to our backend. Especially with larger volumes, we want to make sure not to affect the performance of your store.

    Please let us know if you have any further thoughts or questions.
    BR.

    Hi,

    technically, you can get a negative margin, if for example the shipping cost and tax / vat values are deducted.
    Are you applying vat on the retail price, or are there any shipping costs applied on the orders?

    Thanks for your feedback.-
