Thanks for the links. Those are awesome resources (I especially like the user-extra one). However, this is not exactly what I am talking about right now. I am just building the site, but do not want the directory to be a “member” site at the moment. It is more information; although, I will at some point be adding membership capability later on.

What I was referring to was simply a section that has our current directory of members at the church for access by church leaders, prayer chain, etc. I think I will try to implement it the way I listed above. I may have answered my own problem when posting that! I will leave this unresolved at the moment in case someone else has other suggestions, but will be sure to mark it resolved soon. Thanks!

Not to dredge up an old post, but is there a way to actually limit which category is pulled. Meaning, instead of pulling all posts listed by category, how could I pull posts only in one category?

I am getting the same exact error…does this only happen when you are working with your Plug-ins (deleting them, etc?) That is when mine happens. The action finishes successfully, but it seems like when it wants to reload the page after that action. So far as I can tell at the moment, it is not causing to many problems, but I obviously want to get it resolved.

Nevermind! I am an idiot. I always make things harder than they are. I was able to accomplish this by simply changing the structure to %postname%

Now, my question here is that I read in the Codex that it is not a good idea to use it this way..but I am simply using this for static pages in a CMS business website – is this still not a good idea and if not, why?

Yeah, I came across that – and I do know “server stuff” ?? but just wanted to be sure that is what I needed to look into first. I will check that out. Thanks.
