In reply to: Can’t load index.php from site root after upgradeI had the same problem, but it took a back seat to another issue – when I clicked on the comment or category links on my blog page, I got a 404. If I manually inserted “index.php” before the query on the address bar every thing worked fine. Both problems were solved by editing the wp-blog-header.php. In reply to: Error: Password field is empty..I solved my issue with a combination of hacks. Stevo3 restored access by editing the cookie path referenced in wp-includes\vars.php. Goddessamy posted a hack to wp-login.php that clears the annoying “password field empty” message that remained briefly after employing the fix above. The latter is for IIS installations.

In reply to: “The password field is empty” error under IISI am having the same problem with the variation that it doesn’t login. I just get a flash of “password field empty” and then a new login screen. I tried the hack described above. It eliminated the warning message, but I just get redirected to the login again. I also have tried eliminating trailing white spaces. Any other ideas?

In reply to: Error: Password field is empty..I have the problem described above. I have checked all the files in the root wordpress directory for trailing spaces. This hasn’t had any effect. Is there any other place to look? Thanks.
