knownasilya,
If you have any further insight into it, please do let me know. I haven’t been able to get this to work since the first time I attempted it back in February/March. I’m currently on managed wordpress hosting from zippykid if that helps (since they have a lot of control over the backend of my site). It works on a new site I created, but not the main site on which I work. Is there a way to scan for database issues?
mileandrea,
it won’t let me authorize a connection with my smugmug installation. it blames the app’s credentials. I’m guessing it’s some issue with its phpsmug implementation as issues with multiple simultaneous attempts to validate do this. could you e-mail me and we can discuss this further for everyone’s benefit? my e-mail is my user name at gmail. Or, if you’d like to add a dot com to my username and use the contact field, that would work, too. I’m grateful to have run into your help!
awesome. I think there might be a conflict with my theme because I can only navigate left, not right, through the buttons. However, the keyboard works just fine. I’m in the process of overhauling my site, so, once it’s done, I’ll definitely give you a heads up on how it’s working.
Is there a way where the entire site can run only one instance of phpsmug and then all other plugins can use its library? If this is possible, it might stop issues with another plugin as well. Since I’m still learning PHP, this would be good to know. Thanks.

In reply to: [SmugMug Responsive Slider] [Plugin: SmugMug Responsive Slider] Fatal ErrorMichael,
Thank you SO much for providing such a useful plugin. I’ve been on the lookout for such a plugin for ages. If you’ve kept track with the most useful wordpress plugin, SmugMug for WordPress, you’ll realize your work contributes significantly to the SmugMug + WordPress user base. I’d like to echo John’s statements if it helps you debug. However, I’m not using Plugins #2 and 5 he listed. Once again, you have my sincerest thanks and I hope this gets sorted out soon. I LOVE your plugin from what I’ve seen so far. Keep up the excellent work!
Best!
P.S.
I’m gonna start a little post for publicity! I hope it helps!I haven’t been able to get it to work since 3.3.1… it’s unfortunate, but the current developer doesn’t even have an e-mail address to contact him. I was trying to reach him so I could donate some money (or gather enough momentum for others to donate as well) so we could accelerate the development. Unfortunately, neither of the ideas have momentum. Unless you’re interested in donating some money, along with me (and anyone else who might be interested), to the author.

In reply to: [SmugMug for Wordpress] [Plugin: SmugMug for WordPress] Help in developmentI understand you’re offering help, but I’m asking people to help pitch in some money so he/she can continue the development with an incentive. Any attention towards offers to help would be nice so he/she knows we’re not demanding the world for free. The reason I’m requesting a cross-post there is so people can offer whatever they can contribute to the developer. It’s good to keep things organized if/when the dev comes back to look for feedback.
I don’t see any references for “enhancements”. I’m not sure what you’re seeing. I’ve only said his website doesn’t work and maybe we could donate some money. I sincerely appreciate your offers to help code. Where you’re willing to share your ability, I’m willing to help him out financially, within my limits. We’re two sides to the same coin. Nonetheless, let’s hope for the best.

I’m no mod or anything, but I’d like to ask courteously if you’d like to repost this in the other post? I’m trying to see if we can direct some donation towards this guy so someone/anyone can help incentivize an accelerated development schedule. Thanks for the help.
