pdf embed in divi?

I want to embed a pdf in a divi module. I tried using the text module and there is an option ‘add PDF’ (not sure if this is a button that appears due to this plugin?) In any event [pressing that button does nothing / doesn’t work.

Can you please advise what sort of module I should use in divi to display / contain a pdf, and is there some sort of shortcode I should use?
