Maybe using a WordPress shop plugin and administrate the store and blog within WordPress is a solution?

I might try doing that but I guess I will have to lose the DB associated with Prestashop.

Not sure if I understand the question. What do you mean by “administrate the main website”. Do you want to merge Prestashop and WordPress?

Not sure if I could merge them in one index.php & .htaccess. All I am trying to do is use WP for the whole website because at the moment I can only use WordPress on the blog only. I guess I will have to find a way to move the PrestaShop files to a sub-directory and then move WP to the root.

If you have any other website with index.php file in root then I am afraid to say that you will have use wordpress from directory as you can not have two index files in folder.

govpatel Indeed, but I don’t want to uninstall the current WP because that will mess up the theme for the blog on the website.
The only reason I am trying to do this is because I wanna apply a whole new theme for the whole website using WP, unless there is another approach then I appreciate the guidance.
