I did not describe the question correctly.
What i am looking for is the entire vertical area where the sidebar stays – the area between page title bottom border to the footer top border, not just the sidebar area.
The CSS code you offered is for the sidebar only, the page looks ugly while i set background for sidebar only…

Thanks for the css code from @abhikr781 , it works well to me.
Guess this problem needs to be fixed in upcoming package of oceanwp, it is definetly caused by the previous theme update.

I agree with Yogo, this plugin has been updated so much frequent, it is not a good thing, plugin author could publish a stable version and better updating every 4-8 weeks, not this 1 or 4 days, this is annoying, Rankmath is the ONLY plugin need to be updated every single time when i login the dashboard,

I still remember one of the update ever caused all of my websites crashed around half year ago, that was a disaster.

We appreciate the author bring us such a good plugin, you could make it even better with stable update released not that fast.

@syacbary Hi i want to ask if you have solved this problem? I am facing the same problem, the setting is all right but the goolge results have different titles, this drives me crazy because whatever the title i set, there will always have a short irrevelant words after the title.

It’s been two weeks, the problem remains there even though i tried to change the title and description.
What i can tell you that is i didn’t change the meta description before i noticed this problem, i simply update the plugins every week, nothing more.
Honestly i am very disappointed at this plugin, it ever broke my site before and now nearly half of my pages have such irrevelant words after the page title, this is ridiculous.

WTF, i have the same fatal error today, rolled back to the last backup and disabled the rank math auto update, now my site is back!
This is the first time and the first plugin that cause my site totally dead!!!!!
I would never enable the auto update anymore!

I don’t think they will answer you Manu, i posted a simple question 9days ago, nobody anwser me, i have to figure out the way myself.
Look up and down the pages in this supporting forum, there’re hundreds of questions not anwsered!
OceanWp pushed two updating patches within one single day, i was confused that time because it mostly means the previous patch has big problem, but i choose to trust OceanWp team..
I upgraded the theme twice and have many problems come… One of my tag page is error to crawl by google for one week and mobile device loading extremely slow, it was 2-3 seconds before, now it takes over 10 seconds!
When i come to this supporting forum, i was socked, so many unsolved topics!
Check out Astra and GeneratePress, they don’t have these problems at all…
OceanWp is the most powerful theme i ever used, however their support to free users is not the best, for these reasons i cancelled many times when i was hesitating to purchase the pro version.

I’m afraid you misunderstand my meaning, i will only put the vertical menu in products page, the other pages are full width content without any sidebar.

The top menu wilL list main categories only and this vertical menu will help visitor to shift browsing different products page. I think this is more user friendly because they do not have to click on the top menu and find different child products.

Name, Phone number, Email and Message are the four core items in a basic form contact, if they give you all of these for free, 99% of the users will be happy and would not pay for this plugin anymore, it’s kind of sales strategy to push you pay for it.
I’m not judging it, just don’t like it this way, they could make the basic contact form a bit ugly but functional while the premium version looks way more beatiful, i believe most people would like to buy the beatiful one without complaints.

Problem 3) When i click the post, its URL is xxxx.com/hello-oceanwp, it’s not xxxx.com/news/hello-oceanwp. How can i fix that in dashboard or customizer?

A modification to previous solution.
Step 3) Go to Dashboard > Widgets > Custom menu, set it as Default sidebar OR Left side bar > Default sidebar or Left sidebar, set Custom menu(Select the vertical menu in step 1), set the menu position(Left or Right of page) and other things like font.

Once it done, refresh the products page, a new vertical menu appears.

I now choose the default sidebar to add custom vertical menu, and it comes out all the pages with a vertical products menu (Home and Contact not included because i set both of them OceanWP page attribute as full width page), including the child product page, so i don’t need to set the left sidebar of each child page anymore.

That’s All.

I have deleted Woocommerce, it added a shopping cart in my page header, just can’t live with that even though a short css code can hide it.

Tried with another way by following your guide, i am writting it down here in case other pals face same situation with me someday:

1) Need to creat a new menu for the Products page and its child pages only, which i named it as vertical menu.
2) Go to Dashboard > Pages > Products page > Page Attibutes set as Default template, do NOT set it as full width template, don’t know why but the sidebar will not comes out in the full width template.
3) Go to Dashboard > Widgets > Left sidebar > Custom menu(Select the vertical menu in step 1), set the menu position(Left or Right of page) and other things like font.
Once it done, refresh the products page, a new vertical menu appears.

By my method i don’t need Woocommerce and other risk-unknown widgets.
Meanwhile using elementor i can add all the products in that parent products page, and put links on all the images which will lead you to the specific child page.

I just initially completed the parent products page, the next thing to do is build a child product page as template and then i can publish all the products with this template.

5months past and this problem remains, in OceanWP we can only hide the shopping cart by addtional css code:(
I think it is the problem with woocommerce, not the theme.
