In reply to: [YARPP - Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] Issue with disallowed tagsYARPP should automatically do this instead of having to update the other posts right? I’m running into the same issue.
I sell music on my website and when I sell an instrumental I put it in the “Sold” category which I have checked in the YARPP settings under Disallow by Categories. But when I add a post to the “Sold” category it’s still showing under posts it previously showed under. The only way to fix this is to go to each of those posts and update them.
Hey @erfanmhd
What condition are you using? I use EDD’s Stripe plugin and PayPal Standard on my checkout page and in the past I tried to figure out how to change the complete purchase button depending on which payment option was selected (I also use a custom checkout_cart.php page), but I could never get it working. Any guidance on how to do this? Thank you.
@arnaudbroes I’m sorry but I still don’t understand why you load a toolbar on my website for my visitors? It shouldn’t load at all on my main website. Do you have a page I can visit or a screenshot to see how it looks?
This code doesn’t seem like it has any purpose loading on my website, I can understand loading it on the backend admin area (which is does) but not my main website:

@arnaudbroes Am I missing something? Why is this loading at all on our main website for any user, logged in or not, and not only in the admin area? I just created a test account on my website (not admin) and it loads this css file on my home page. Why?

In reply to: [Hueman] Sticky sidebar and load images on scroll – BUG@nikeo You mean change the position with CSS? Currently I have the image code pasted directly in my child theme in the sidebar.php file. I tried pasting the code in an HTML widget and that didn’t fix it. The code is:
<img class="paypal-sidebar" src="https://www.rockitpro.com/misc/rockitpro-paymentsaccepted.png" width="289" height="75" alt="RockItPro.com Secure Payments">
If you scroll down until it bugs out, notice the dynamic css on
sidebar s1 collapsed
changes totop: 892px;
, then slowly scroll back up until the sidebar snaps back to the top and then scroll back down slowly and the new css is correct attop: 553px;
and the PayPal image shows correctly.I think that’s the issue but I have no clue how to fix that. Any ideas?
@bertjuhh thanks for the info and link. I’ll relay this to the guy at Sumo.com I’ve been speaking with. Good to know it’s just a bug.

In reply to: [Hueman] Where is my child theme style.css loading from?Sorry for pinging you. I put the wrong url in, it’s a staging/testing site and I do not want it to be crawled by Google or it could cause some issues with my SEO. Just thought a mod could possibly remove it for me real quick.
@pratik-jain Ok thanks! I’ll possibly hire someone to write a function for this because I’d like to keep the register/login as is but just move it up, I don’t like the idea of clients being auto-registered. Thank you for the info.

In reply to: [Hueman] Where is my child theme style.css loading from?@d4z_c0nf Yep, I found that digging through the files last night. I guess I could dequeue it in my functions file and then reload it my way, not worried about it right now though. Thanks for the reply.
@sterndata can you or one of the mods delete the url in my original post? Thank you.
@pratik-jain thanks, I just used the gettext filter, I’d rather do that than install a plugin that does the same thing.
EDIT #2:
I just went with the gettext filter and changed the wording that way, if you guys see an issue arising from that please let me know. Here’s the code: https://www.pastiebin.com/5d802eac708f1
Ok I figured it out, in the settings for Billing Address Display I had to set it to no address fields and now my function works and only my custom billing fields show up.
Is this function ok to use? It won’t cause any issues when purchasing with Stripe will it?
- EDIT:
Nevermind, that doesn’t work because it makes the Country and Zip Code not required so you don’t even have to fill that part out to make a purchase. Back to square one ??
Thanks for the reply Pratik. The template containing the code I need to change is in \easy-digital-downloads\includes\checkout\template.php which I don’t think I can move into my child theme or can I? It doesn’t seem like a simple change because it’s tied into the AJAX on the checkout page when you switch payment methods.
That’s why I was asking if there was a function I can just throw in my functions.php file.
