@cklosows wait, are you saying any e-mail receipt including download links sent to buyers before this update, those download links won’t work anymore? Or is that only if the files are in a different folder other than the default edd folder?

In reply to: [Hueman] Smooth Scroll throwing JS errors in ChromeJust checked my own website by turning off Smooth Scrolling and the errors stopped showing up. Also, with Smooth Scrolling turned on, the page scrolls a bit choppy in Chrome, definitely not smooth at all.

In reply to: [WP-PostRatings] Incorrect last starSame issue here. On my test site which is a mirror of my live site, the rating of a post is 3.25 but it shows 3 full stars. On my live site, that exact same post with a rating of 3.25 shows 3 and a half stars. No caching on either site and I’m on the latest WordPress.
Checking all my posts on my test site and it seems the latest update is not showing any half star images.
Ok thanks. I think it cleared itself out. I’ve had quite a few sales since the update so I think we’re good, thanks Pippin.
I use an .htaccess file, no plugin. I don’t think this is going to be a wide spread issue, it worked fine on my phone without a hard refresh and only that one guy e-mailed me about it. I’ll just keep an eye on it.
I just didn’t know if there was a way server side I could clear out the cache but they’re PHP files so I don’t know. I restarted my dedicated server, maybe that fixed it?
After updating the plugin and re-uploading the edited template files they didn’t work logged in or logged out until I did a hard refresh of my website. I’d click the Add To Cart button and the spinner would just spin. After an F5 they worked fine.
I’ll keep an eye on it and see if I get any other e-mails from visitors or lack of sales over the next day or two. Obviously it’s a cache issue.
I did make the changes to the template files widget-cart-item.php and checkout_cart.php and then re-uploaded those files into my EDD folder /themes/hueman-child/edd_templates/ but it seems those PHP template pages are cached (I’m not using a plugin for caching, I do it server side) so I had to hard refresh my website before the Add To Cart buttons would work again. A visitor also had to do the same so I’m worried everyone that comes to my site won’t be able to buy anything because they won’t think to do a hard refresh.
I’m asking if you know of a way to force a refresh of my website so visitors to my website get a cleared out version? I can’t really use version numbers for PHP files so it won’t work like CSS.
It’s not secure if the member inputs an “http” url instead of “https”, doing this causes mixed security warnings on the website. I thought I’d let you know.

In reply to: [YARPP - Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] Compatibility 4.8.3 ?Guys, try going to the settings and re-saving and it might fix it. If that doesn’t work then delete and re-upload the plugin through FTP if you can. It IS working on my 4.9.1 test site after doing those things.

In reply to: [Comments - wpDiscuz] NotificationsYep, needs to be removed, it’s way too intrusive.

In reply to: [YARPP - Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] Regarding adopting this pluginI guess you need his permission to update the plugin and re-release it? Or can you do it on github?
He’s obviously abandoned the plugin, it’s been 10 months now, it’s a main part of my site and now I can’t update WordPress because Yarpp doesn’t work on 4.9.1

In reply to: [YARPP - Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] Compatibility 4.8.3 ?It’s working on 4.8.3 for me but seems to be broken on my test website which is on WordPress 4.9.1
Always backup your database before updating WordPress so you can revert back if something is broken.
Might as well move to another plugin though, pretty sure Jeff abandoned this one months ago. Such a shame too, great plugin.
@kbatdorf totally forgot about the inline js, thanks.
