Hey MC_Nate,

My team loves the mailchimp signup form that I styled on the home page of my dev site https://dev.uwba.org/mainsite/wp/ but they don’t like the way the resulting message is styled once you submit your email address. It is just a box with some text and we would like to change the content of the resulting message to make it clear to go to their email to double-opt in.

Where are the styles for that so I can change the look and feel of the messages?

Or even better, I think that my team would like it to be a little box with a close button so that people will read it and realize that they have to activate the link in their email inbox.

Thank you, MC_Nate!!, your code worked very well!! I decided to use JQuery to change the id so I didn’t need to edit the plugin and if it gets updated it won’t break. Thank you so much! It looks and works so much better now.

I couldn’t fix it and looks like the client took the carousel down. It no longer shows up.

Actually I search the wp_carousel forum and I found a fix for it. The developer says he will fix it in the next version as well.

I repaired the tables in phpmyadmin, many of them did show overhead. However, it did not relieve the problem, everything works except for creating a new post. It will just keep spinning. I reinstalled WordPress, Repaired the tables, Optimized the tables, Deleted all plugins that are not in use, changed the theme to the default 2010. Do I need to erase it and start again? I can export all the information to another wordpress application delete the blog and then reimport it and set up the plugins fresh. Do I need to be this extreme?

Does anyone have a suggestion of what I can do to troubleshoot? I also optimized my database tables thinking there might be an issue there. What if someone pasted from Word into the blog, could that create a glitch?

I was able to do an insert of my posts table and it worked. I didn’t need the comments but if I did I would also do the same insert for the comments. This seemed to be the cleanest way and worked great.

what if I only want to import some of the tables? Same process?

I just need the posts, I don’t mind that I don’t have other functionality.
