In reply to: Sidebar problems with IE7Okay Sam, validated….thanks. Now where do I go from here to fix that ie7 problem?

In reply to: Site ValidationI found the answer for my footer problem. Those dorks at my host provider had put code for a google ad in there. That threw everything out of whack. In the process of moving my site to another server.
I still can’t seem to figure why my sidebar drops to the bottom of my blog in IE7 after the categories section. Doesn’t happen in FF. The site validated for xhtml and css, so I don’t understand the problems. I have read every post here that relates to this, but I’m still not seeing the answer.
I haven’t been able to validate today, because I’m waiting for my DNS to propagate. I’ve tried several times, and I get a 500 error. At least I hope it’s the DNS.

In reply to: header.phpThanks Adam…I’m in the process of doing that now.
Also, I have validated with w3c, but I don’t have the foggiest idea of what files to make the changes in. Most of the errors are inbedded in javascript I think.

In reply to: Links in Header Stopped WorkingThanks Adam, I’m trying to figure out all these coding errors. Most of the errors reported are not even present, at least as far as I see(which doesn’t speak for much).
I have not found one that pertains to the links. If someone looks at my page source, do you think you might see the problem?

In reply to: Switching back to the WYSIWYG editor?I have the same problem, and that does not fix it. I have seen a lot of these same questions lately. I only have the visual view for posting. I don’t know what happened to the code view.

In reply to: Links in Header Stopped WorkingWhat does this have to do with the links not working? When I run that validator, most of the code errors it finds are actually in place.
The links were working before, without this validate.Forum: Installing WordPress
