In reply to: [Resize images before upload] The same as Timthumb and Aqua resizer?Hi,
Another question. What I would like to achieve also is when people upload an image through a form on my website (that are BIG images normally) this should be resized so my server has not to store unneccesary BIG files.
Is that also what this plugin does?
Kind regards,
Willem

In reply to: [YARPP - Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] Thumbnail size problemHi, thanks for your reply.
But I don’t create the html so leaving out anything of the html is not possible. I just don’t get how this plugin works, strange things.
If I put the css there I’m afraid he resizes the big picture what
A) looks not nice
B) the plugin than still don’t use the excisting thumbnails what should be possible coniderd the explenation of the plugin.Kind regards,
Willem

In reply to: [YARPP - Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] Thumbnail size problemI was thinking YARPP is so often used that somebody out here could help me :-). Can anybody help me with my problem?
Kind regards,

Thanx for the answers.
Hi Jeremy, that’s ofcourse a ‘good’ way, mention first then include. But for what reason do you want to include it back to Jetpack Comments if you didn’t thought of Jetpack Comments in the first place?
Also curious at your opinion about Quantcast with al the ‘negative’ links I mentioned before. Because of that, with the knowledge as it look right now thats it’s coming back in Jetpack Comments maybe I think of going to look for an alternative.
But I just don’t know to much about Quantcast, so please you opionion.
Kind regards,
Willem
Hi Jeremy,
What to do now?
I don’t like the fact the Quantcast is there when I read this posts:1) https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/plugin-wordpresscom-stats-quantserve-code-in-stats-javascript?replies=18
2) https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/plugin-wordpresscom-stats-httpedgequantservecomquantjs-after-uninstall?replies=8
3) https://www.techairlines.com/2010/12/30/wordpress-stats-quantcast/
4) https://www.wpcypher.com/jetpack-wordpress-plugin-reviewWhat is your opinion about this?
Kind regards,
Willem
Hi Jeremy, I found the problem.
I first deactivated all plugins I don’t use with Jetpack (including stats ofcourse) plus one I use, the Jetpack Comments plugin. I cleared cache, quantcast was gone ( yeah! ).
Then I activated the Jetpack Comments again, cached, and the quantcast was back again ( mmmm ?? )
Can you explain why Quantcast is being used for the Jetpack Comments part?
Kind regards,
Willem

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] [Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] ?replytocomHi Joost or somebody else,
I also read your post about replytocom links.
You tell:
On a site like this one, with often over a hundred comments on a post, it means there are 100 links pointing to that same article, causing a lot of crawling that’s totally unneeded.
But how does it cause lot of crawling? Because in Google webmasters in Google URL parameters Google tells it ignores the parameter:
replytocom ver
They ignore it because it seems it does not change my content.
