Thank you for the quick response Rattus.
Your above solution doesn’t work because the real issue is one of nested shortcodes.
The “main file” in the mother site uses the slice plugin to include “common code”:
[slice src='https://www.ezdockdealer.com/ez-includes/ez-content/common-code.html']
The “common code” is:
some html code [flagallery...] more html code
The mother and all slave sites call the “main file” the same way the mother site does:
[slice src='https://www.ezdockdealer.com/ez-includes/ez-content/common-code.html']
However the [flagallery…] shortcode never gets expanded when the “common code” is called by a slave site. It does get expanded when called the the mother site.
So my thinking was if i could put the absolute path to the gallery pointing to the mother site gallery it might work, but it doesn’t.
Obviously the nested shortcode issue is not a flagallery issue, however I think that allowing absolute path to the gallery in the slave sites might solve the problem???
I installed the Outerbridge Nested Shortcodes plugin to no avail.
If you have any other suggestions I would appreciate them.
Thank you for your patience.
I have tried to contact the author (Kavin) via his site’s contact page (https://kav.in/contact/) but when you submit your contact form, the site just spins. I also posted on his Facebook page. (I see that mirefoot did also).
@rezon8dev – Thank you. I see that also – i will investigate.
Thanks for the heads up!
Works fine in Opera, Chrome and Safari.
Why is IE always the exception…
OK – found a fix from an old post
I went to Settings > WP UI > Advanced and unchecked Demand Load ScriptsDOH – Damn it Jim!
boy do i feel silly
unchecking works fine – thanks!
I checked both of the suggested choices above:
- “Filter suspicious query strings”
- “Generate random version number”
I am still having the problem in “all” browsers except Firefox (Problem show up in IE, Chrome, Safari and Opera)

Unfortunately i don’t have much choice because these are all dealers that sell the same product line and want their own individual site.forgetting Google for the moment, is there a way i can do this?
