unfortunately it did not help.
i did not change any of the default settings, and, just to make sure, tried again, double-checking. no file filters, no database only … the scan does check the files, too – and they pass. they just don’t get included in the archive.
as i need to move this site today, i will try to do it with some other plugin, or, if this won’t work either, try manually. in case nothing will work, i might come back to submitting a support ticket.

reason for the problem:
the facebook app you created is still in developer mode.
to change this, go to the facebook developers page, open your app and go to the settings. enter your email adress here (in case you did not do before)
then go to status & review and publish your app. i. e. set the button at the top “do you want to make this app … public” to YES and confirm in the dialog box.

i apologize for maybe having been to impatient.what i found out until now is that there was a conflict with another plugin (cleanFix). after deactivating the other plugin scheduling a backup with wpb2d was possible.
unfortunately this only brought me to the next problem: i scheduled a backup for last night but obviously it did not do anything. there is no entry in the backup log and no backup in my dropbox.
i also tried a manual backup (yesterday, before scheduling) which started but then stopped (well, i stopped it after not going on for a while). see log entries:
15:24:29: There has been no backup activity for a long time. Attempting to resume the backup.

14:25:21: Backup started on Wednesday June 5, 2013.i am using wordpress 3.5.1, php 5.2.17
there are 4 wpb2d tables in the database.okay – so what updraft up to know does & does not:
– the manual backup worked and it was also uploaded to dropbox
– the “daily” scheduled backup worked but was not uploaded to dropbox.
– a second try with the manual backup again worked but also was not uploaded to dropbox – last entry in the log file always says “dropbox access gained”
– furthermore, although i configured updraft to keep 1 update it did not delete the older updates from the “updraft” folder on my webserver.
– after deleting the older updates from the webserver folder manually they still appear in the list on the plugin’s page to restore from
– at the top of the plugin’s page where the scheduled times are listed it always says that no backup was finished successfully.– after finding and deactivating the conflicting other plugin, scheduling now works with all options but still does not delete old backups nor upload backups to dropbox
– enabling the debug mode makes wordpress give this feedback: “Strict Standards: Only variables should be passed by reference in /homepages/2/d50914773/htdocs/sandbox-rmf/wpsb/wp-includes/pomo/mo.php on line 210” and due to this error message the scheduling options dropdown for files can’t be opened
yes i get the settings saved message.
it is a stand alone site.i meanwhile found out that it seems to work with scheduling “daily” backups – at least it confirms the scheduled time, i will have to see whether it will do anything.
but it does not work with any of the other options (4 hours, weekly … )
timezone is set correctly.
the plugin still does not work at all.it is impossible to plan an backup – the plugin always shows thursday 0:00, weekly but does not accept this time nor any other i choose for backup planning … it still says i had not planned any backup.
