I had a similar issue, adsense would not show on regular versions of the pages, I had not implemented adsense for AMP pages.

Tied in incognito mode, different browsers and ads would not show, disabled the plugin and everything was fine.

No, it doesn’t, I am assuming that is a theme related issue, a theme that has excerpts but the plugin “doesn’t know” how to code it for instant articles so it’s probably excluded and hence the white space.

Probably you can manually alter the instant articles by adding the excerpt after the article is published.

I am doing this with youtube videos, the plugin doesn’t pick up on the embedded videos so I add them in the instant articles manually.

Actually if you already liked the page or you are an admin or a team member the like button doesn’t show up at all, so all you need to do is just change the color of the background to differ of the color of the like button.

this is according to their developer documents:

“Why don’t you see a Like button for your Facebook Page in the header of your Instant Articles?

Facebook only displays the Page Like button in the header of an Instant Article when the reader has not already liked (i.e. followed) the associated Page. When the reader already follows the Page, the Like button does not appear. If you or members of your team are not seeing the Page Like button on your articles, it’s probably because you already like your own Page.”

Same problem, Like button doesn’t show up and it is required.

But I think that it won’t create instant articles fr poss as well if you disconnect the plugin form the app…did you try that?

This is happening to me too, contact form feedback is automatically published in the production section, and that is not good.
I am assuming this is because the plugin works through the API not the feed.

Yes, the HTML is correct. You can see how the post looks only in the Facebook Pages Manager app for iOS or Android.

There’s no shortcut, 50 posts are not a lot, make sure if there are images in the posts, the featured image to be different than the first jmage in the post.

@ctheory11 did you try opening a post in full edot mode and updating?
Beacuse resaving in quick edit or in bulk doesn’t work, or if it imports something it says “instant article is empty”
Sorry, I can’t help you. It looks like you’ve done everything right, but something in the backend is preventing the pkugin to work as it should.

open an article in wordpress, click udpate?

Well actually if you follow them on fb and twitter you will see
that the pages are posting links to various sites about instant articles,
but nobody is answering anything.

Also you can add manually, but if there are galleries in posts, errors appear.
Find the mobile preview shortlink for the instant article, open it in a browser, use CTRL+U to see the post source copy it and paste it in the Instant Article creator, it works.

If you are on feedburner you can change the original feed by adding
at the end ?max-result=50
ex.: yourdomain.com/feed/?max-result=50

Also change the number of items in feed in WordPress’ reading settings.

I also got only 15 posts, which I removed and now the feed doesn’t import anything…. :/

So, did turning of Rocket Loader and Off on the https protocol rewriting fixed the errors?
