It is not just emoji, it is any multi-tier (4 byte) character, and I presume any malformed 3 byte character.

If I recall correctly your source problem is an incongruence between EXIF and IPTC. I get around this by using an LR plugin to wordpress I use https://alloyphoto.com/plugins/nextgen/. But there is also https://apps.meow.fr/wplr-sync/

If by programmatically you mean via script, and are familiar with WP CLI then you can use Pods or ACF.

You might try a pods table. As in an Advanced Content Type… I recall talking with Scott once and him indicating that other kinds for content types in wordpress create an ID and then things get related to that ID rather than say the post title or so, but I may be just talking crap. It has been awhile. If you do find a solution I would love to know what you did.

May I confirm that it is the case that I am not missing an option to add the “Edit | Quick Edit | Trash | View” hidden-until-hover links to a desired column.

@esmi, some of the plugin options under various language solutions point back to this forum. And the plugin is only targeted at an Italian audience. Look at the content of the Plugin’s readme file.

I am totally in respect for the rules, as I don’t speak Italian. (german yes, Italian, no). But it seams that this is a bit exclusionary, to say: “speak english around us or get out…” I am not even sure if this is the right location to have this conversation. It seem that it should be in the Get Involved >> Support section… (It can be a complex and emotional issue I know. So, please point to the location where we can have this conversation. I would like to get plugged in there.)

But if you are going to ask plugin authors to only answer requests in English during their support (here), then it seems that plugin authors should only be providing readme files in English too.

I would also mention that I am calling a ngg gallery. So, if that filter still exists, and NextGen Gallery works the same way, then it should be being called.

I did leave a comment in the support forums, but the author has not replied to others asking similar questions over about the last year, so I wonder if it plugin is abandoned. BTW: I do give good reviews too.

It has been a few days since that error. I think I had already altered the POD and deactivated the plugin by the time you replied. I have reinstalled the plugin on another site and I will give it a another go. If I have a problem again I will open a new issue and paste the POD on pastebin.com and link to it from the support forums here.
