I finally found the problem. And i’m sure it’s a real bug. Not shure where to report but this is de problem:

On the website I only have pages.
But when i publish a new normal post the author “noindex” gets removed and shows everything normal.

When i delete the post again or put it on private, the author gets noindex again.

Can this be fixxed? Let me know if more is needed.

@jeroenrotty Did that plugin and a reset of indexables. Still the same problem, all the Yoast settings should be good. Is there a way to code a force “index, follow”? So i can override it the hard way?

Checked all and the above. Before even submitting the questions. That’s why i’m asking what code to look for or if it’s a bug.

Yes I was also expecting to see index, follow. So that’s the problem.

Yes also in Reading “Discourage search engines from indexing” is off, the page is live many years.

Not really want to share the live site here, any other options? Or things i can check? What code should i look for?

Thanks @shazahm1hotmailcom that pointed me in the right direction! Seemed that Jquery wasn’t loading (it was in functions with wp_deregister_script)

But i’m already hours in to the next problem. The anchors arent put in the HTML?

I fixxed it with a custom script, that put’s the id=”” part in.
But now it’s not working with single quotes’ EZTOC shows this, how to get that in PHP? %e2%80%99

Or any pointers why the anchors aren’t put in?

Thanks but the “ACF content analysis for yoast SEO” plugin isn’t working for the blockeditor. We already had that one installed.

So the issue isn’t solved.

Hope you have any other ideas for this bug?

Yes it’s the same underneath the page/post: You can add an extra keyword with a “tab” so all the different keywords show in tabs (just like readability tab). The checks will look the same, under every keyword there are the green/red dots with checks.

Hope this makes sense for you, can’t make a screenshot at the moment.

Ok I tryed it again (5 times) and all of a sudden its working….. I don’t know why, didn’t change anything and did everything the same….

Ok I see the “publishing date” and the edit button next to it. So i click on edit, and set the time 20 minutes later. Then I push Publish, but I immediately see the post… what am I doing wrong?
