I totally agree with that, everything should be updated. But I did try another theme, the twenty fifteen theme which is update to date and get the exact same problem.

In reply to: [Job Manager] Need to fix issues in WordPress 4.1Hi Thomas, I have updated the plugin to latest version and still get the 404 error.
I cant get to the job URL’s as before, or to a category URL like https://www.avjobs.co.uk/account-manager/.
I saved my perma settings as per the tutorial in your links and it ruins it. I’m now back to a permalink problem with all pages.
I am totally lost.

In reply to: [Job Manager] Need to fix issues in WordPress 4.1Thanks for coming back to me.
I am running now with the just the Job Manager plugin activated. The permalink structure is back now and working normally.
When i visit a job page for example: https://www.avjobs.co.uk/pro-video-business-development/ its gives me a 404. So I just save the permalink structure to fix this. However when i refresh the site it crashes and just shows some random content, basically the permalink structure isn’t working now. I get the impression somewhere in the plugin, it doesn’t like permalink srtucture anymore. But all i have done is update WordPress but that was recent to fix the issue which hasnt. Before that there were no updates. It kind of just happened.
What should I do?

In reply to: [Job Manager] Need to fix issues in WordPress 4.1I have done this several times but had to revert to the default permalink to get most pages working.
My clients website is https://avjobs.co.uk/. I get the same issues as per owenbick’s screen shots above.
At the moment, the Job Manager plugin does not works with “Post name”. In fact I dont think much is working from the plugin, such as the shortcodes as per above which i tried to use to rebuilt the job listing page.
I do have the latest version of WP. The site was working before xmas and now all of a sudden it doesn’t work. I had a continual loop error, I updated WordPress and now at this point. I can get most normal pages to work with “Post name” but not much to work within the Job Manager plugin. When i try to edit the URL name in the back office, it doesn’t do anything.

In reply to: [WordPress Backup to Dropbox] Backup up now not workingHi Mikey
This is working now. Great plugin!
Just one other question.
I have a few clients which will probably want this backup to drop box solution. Do you recommend to have one Drop Box account or for each customer? I was thinking to have one account and then buy additional space within the one account.

Would I will be able to setup a manual CRON job on the server? I am allowed to do this. So could i call the the wp-cron.php file or another file to run the backup using the servers scheduled tasks?

In reply to: [WordPress Backup to Dropbox] Backup up now not workingHi Mkey
Thanks for getting back to me.
I think i have a problem with the wp-con file.
My host is HEART INTERNET who says this
Checking the plugin you are using, this notes that curl support is required. Curl is available on the shared hosting however a script within the hosting cannot call files locally stored via curl.
This is due to http loopbacks (a script calling a local file via the domain url) being disabled within the shared environment.
This is done to prevent the possibility that mis-configured scripts could enter, essentially, an “infinite loop”, making call-backs to themselves. Such a situation is extremely detrimental to server performance, and would negatively impact other users also on this shared server.
Unfortunately we are not able to lift this block on a per-site or per-script basis, so you will need to see if you are able to reconfigure the script (or contact the script authors for assistance doing this, some wordpress backups do have an alternate method), or use an alternative script that doesn’t require HTTP requests to its own server.
Any ideas who we can get round this?
Thanks rdembrun,
I will give that a go. To get a thumbnail in the album I got into Gallery > Album > Select Album > Edit Album > Then in the popup select a preview image.
Is that what your doing already?
