I added in the email logging plugin as suggest is it shows both emails going to the same place. One with info and one without. Maybe I just have something configured incorrectly. Please review. (Not using real email address).

Admin Notification Subject New Order Has Arrived

When I look at the Email logs, both go to [email protected]. One has the correct data and one just has the blank fields….just like this:

A new order has been submitted at My Test Site:

Name:
Email:
Phone:
Note:
Payment Amount: 0

Items ordered:

1. Chicken (7)

My apologies, when I said I didn’t understand your answer I was thinking of a different issue. However, I did install the WP Mail SMTP and send via my real email address and the same thing is happing?

Sorry but I don’t understand your answer. It’s not getting blocked by anything. When the submit button is clicked to place the order, two emails are getting sent and two emails are arriving at the admin emails address. However, one had the correct data and one has empty data.

Additionally, I also testing using wordpress on localhost with a WP MAIL SMTP as you suggested and the same thing is happening.

Correct – the email is sent to the admin when the order is placed, however, nothing is going to the person placing the order. Any suggestions?
