In reply to: [Post Ratings] UpdateHello Germany!
I did try to roll back and restore, and alas, all of my ratings and values were destroyed. We even restored the last back-up of our very extensive site, overwriting the entire site, and the ratings were all set to zero. I have no votes, no ratings, nothing. I wanted to weep, as all of those ratings were showing up in Google search results.
Perhaps we’ll find another plug-in and will slowly build the ratings back up again.
Thank you for responding. I appreciate it!

In reply to: [Swifty Bar, sticky bar by WPGens] New Feature requestsNice plug in, I like it. I would likely upgrade to pro version if I could control more options.
I agree with the comments by Immanence. It was intuitive for me to keep trying to click on the pop up window for the next or prior post, and I realized I had to click on the arrows. I, too, think we should let our readers click on either/both the pop-up window and the arrows. It’s counter-intuitive currently.
The font color and contrast color on my “share” buttons are dark gray no matter what color scheme I use, thus making it difficult to read/see and understand those are share buttons.
We have a lot of visual content, thus Pinterest is important, but so is a Tumblr option (believe it or not).
Share by Email button would be useful.
Finally, and most important, I can only display your tool on posts — but we have static pages that are shared just as often, and this isn’t displaying on PAGES.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Social Friends] 404 on missing pngThis was from 4 months ago. Didn’t get a response so stopped using the plug in.
Sorry, I wasn’t clear! You helped me solve my issues as shown above (the 3 questions) and I was grateful. Then I noticed you had a PayPal donation button on my plug-in (maybe it was on the recent update or I just didn’t notice it before now), so I used it to make the donation today, but noticed it doesn’t associate the WordPress username with the donation, so you wouldn’t know I was thanking you for the support you’ve already given me in this forum!
Just made a PayPal donation. Can’t associate our user names with it!
100% success with all your tips. Thank you SO very much. Excellent support — again!
I have one site I didn’t update to WP3.9 so I still have the button I miss. It’s called EasyImsge by FFh Lab / Eric Lequien. I could insert the image from a URL, align it r/l/c, set all 4 margins, add a tool tip, and it opened in a pop up in my pages and posts — and did it all so quickly. Much better than using the more traditional media insert buttons.
I installed the dev version for this plug in and indeed I now have an edit image button, which is great, but the button I miss was one which let me quickly add a thumbnail with pop up images, with fast and easy features for selecting right / left / center align and default margins on all four sides, and an option for adding the description as either a caption or a hovering tool tip.
I had that button in the UltimateTinyMCE plug in which I had to delete because it was replaced by the WP Edit plug in and *that* updated plug in was s complete and utter disappointment.
So, switched to this one, and I’m MUCH much happier. I just miss that little image pop up button so very dearly. Anyone else know the button I’m referring to?
Another vote for bringing back the Edit Image button. I used it daily and would dearly love to have it back.

In reply to: [EasyRecipe] display styles only one across all recipes?Came here to specifically ask this question. I occasionally have a recipe with no photo and I’d like to change styles on an as-needed basis, but not globally, so this would be a great “fix.” Or perhaps having, in the default settings, a “fall back” photo which loads, say, a logo, without having to set it each time. Thank you!
