But what intrigues me is the fact, that I set up some rules into .htaccess and wordpress is bypassing that rules. How is that possible ?

In reply to: User name password on a subdomainI’ve installed this plugin More Privacy Options, but basically I want only 1 single user, which is defined by me to be able to access that site, while other users can’t create other accounts, or other admins from multisite to access that website.

In reply to: How is better to install 2 blogs ?I’ve manage to solve it with child theme, but now another question ??
I want to use a forum plugin like bbpress or simplepress.
How do I …1. Use same forum on 2 websites ?
2. Use different forums on those 2 websites ?
2.1 With same users from one to another.
2.2 With different users. Each one with it’s own users.Forum: Networking WordPress

In reply to: How is better to install 2 blogs ?Thank you ?? … Great support.
I’ve managed to set up and run a multisite network on my domain.
Very nice feature for more blogs, but using same user accounts. I can design a portal like website with subdomains.
Now, the issue that I have is to understand how plug-ins works.
Since there are website only plugins and network only plugins as “Multisite User Management.”
Also I can’t figure out where the other subdomain sites are stored, in case I want to edit something to their css styles.
Also, where is better to install a theme ? In network dashboard, or in the specific website dashboard ?Thanks again for your great support.

When enabling Multisite. Do I have to do a normal install of wordpress and then to add define(‘WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE’, true); in wp-config.php.
Or to add this to wp-config.php before to make the install ?Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: How is better to install 2 blogs ?I forgot.
If I do a multisite install with one database. If I’m about to install phpbb3 forum, should I create a new database, or use the same db with the multisite install ?Forum: Networking WordPress

Off-topic question:
There in Resume menu, I want to make a resume page, do I have to open page editor in html mode, and I can write html code like<table> <tr> <td> …. etc ….
or there is a special way to do this in wordpress ?
Also for a portfolio page, what should I use ?I’ll open another thread as well I think if other users have same issue to find it faster.
Thanks again. ??

So there is no workaround to make it look same way in both browsers using some css styles.
