    Everything Works Now! ??

Good Evening/Day (not sure where you are)!

So, I wanted to know why when I click on the numbers at the bottom of “My Journal” page, nothing happens, it just goes back to the top of the page. When I wrote that I’m not a coder or tech savvy, I meant that but, it doesn’t mean I wont research a bit.

I right clicked on one of the page numbers (2) and selected “inspect”. I see that next to the “pagination-item” element is —>> href=”#” data-page-num=”2″>2. It’s the infamous pound sign I mentioned.

I looked up href=”#” and have found that the value means—-> it does not move anywhere but scroll on the top of the current page or simply “scroll to top”; Credit to stackoverflow.com.

How did that happen? I didn’t write that. Either or how would I go about fixing this?
I’m sure there maybe something else hidden somewhere I need to learn about but, this seems to be the error.

On stackoverflow.com it says, Putting the “#” symbol as the href for something means that it points not to a different URL, but rather to another id or name tag
on the same page. However, if there is no id or name then it goes “no where.”

Would someone have to actually go in a write this in code or would this be within a plugin? Did I just make any sense? lol I’m just trying to fix my website.

Anyhow, patiently waiting for a solution ??

    Good Evening Jeremy!

I wish it were that easy. Elementor is not related to the issue; it has been updated. I’d like to reiterate that the issue arose right after Leaky PayWall had been kindly set up for me.

Hopefully I can get this resolved soon.

    Thank You Jeremy,

    My Best,

    Good Evening Jeremy!

I thought I’d do my due diligence and make sure I was following the instructions before reaching out. Thank You for the support email. I will send them a message soon.

    Good Evening @ialfrederick

I’m having the same issue as well. I had downloaded and set up the plug in last night…. Though the Restriction instructions weren’t as clear as I’d like, I followed through and the paywall worked. Today, I check the site and the paywall is non existent. I’m going to dig in a little further to see what’s going on. I’ve been reading about Leaky Paywall, Watching videos and thought, “this is it”.
I’ve tried checking off the caching option just in case it could be that but, the paywall literally does what it wants.
I hope your issue was resolved. I’m going to look into this a lil further then reach out again.

After following all directions for WP Downgrade, for some reason it will not downgrade….
Until I get a better solution, I think I’m going to try restoring within Bluehost

    Thank You so @doblerre!

Also, I do apologize if my asking for help is redundant or in the wrong area.

    Good Day!

For some reason WordPress Updated Automatically. I distinctly remember having my site set up to manually be updated specifically because of problems such as this. But, I also know I have had a few website designer’s working on my site since then who may have selected otherwise. Either or since this WordPress 5.6 Update, my footer and header contents have disappeared, the slideshow/wheel for my store has disappeared and a few other issues.

I’m not as tech savvy as I’d like to be and need this done as soon as possible, as soon as I’m able. I just need to know how I can revert this update. Can someone please give me direct instructions on how to downgrade from this WordPress 5.6? I will read into what has already been given as solutions but would also like to know if the plugin Updraft Plus can do the trick; its a plugin that I already have.

    My Best,

    Good Day/Evening!

I do apologize for not responding to you all. I have since deactivated the plugin. But, because I will be partnering with Google soon, the plugin will be downloaded again. I will inform you on how it goes!

    Thank You All for responding!

Good Day to you as well James!
    Thank You for Responding.
I’m still learning…..It’s probably something simple to fix.
I’m sending information over to the private link you provided me.

Why has this been marked as resolved if there were no resolutions given?
