In reply to: [WooCommerce] Problem with EU VAT calculationsSorry to not have got back beforehand.
This works great and does exactly what I need.
Please would you consider taking this out of experimental status and putting it as a standard feature ?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] Need help setting up non-dowloadable productsUnless you create your own PDF viewer, the PDFs will always be downloaded. Even in Firefox, which has a pdf viewer, the file can still be downloaded from the server.
I don’t see how you will be able to get round this one.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] EU VAT and the rest of the worldThank you lorro, this is what I was thinking.
However, I was not sure how to avoid double taxing – country specific and “catch all *” rates.
Would I be right in thinking that I would need to put the catch all rate at a lower priority to avoid this ?
I ask this as the doc is not sufficiently clear for me. It doesn’t explain if priorities are applied lowest first or highest first to start with.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Customizr] How to create a fixed width slider – not 100%Thanks, just got back and have tested this.
Works great. However, if I create a custom static page for my home page, how can I include the slider in it ?
Do I need to open another issue for this ?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Fill email with data not provided in the formOops, spoke too soon.
The extension mentioned above was, in fact, totally useless.
It simply provides extra form fields and does not permit adding data dynamically to the email being sent. So, what is the answer ?
Hook into thewpcf7_mail_components
filter and do what is needed in code.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Fill email with data not provided in the formLooked already at the Special Mail Tags, but could not find what I needed.
However, I have just tried the “Contact Form 7 Dynamic Text Extension” – excellent, exactly what I needed.

In reply to: [Customizr] Using with WooCommerceThank you for this, however it is far too limited for my needs.
Looks like I will need to create a static home page and put in the relevant woocommerce short codes.Great work though !

In reply to: [Customizr] Using with WooCommerceOk, you guys proposed, so here I am.
Following ElectricFeet’s remark, I expected the homepage to be displayed with my featured products – this is not working.I have also seen that there appears to be a problem with the current release of Customizr. Could this be related ?
Do I need to edit the index.php for it to output the correct content for the homepage ?

In reply to: [Customizr] Using with WooCommerceThanks to both of you for your encouragement, I have started my excursion into customising customizr.
I’ll certainly look into Desktop Server should my own installation cause problems.

In reply to: [Customizr] How to create a page "index" pageThank you ElectricFeet.
Yes, I am a programmer, yes I am comfortable with PHP, yes I do know html/css !
My concern was, is it better (right ?) to do this from hooks and filters, or directly in a page derived from index.php ?
