Hi Wayne,

I’ve chased down the bug. Basically, it was because the “new single post” template that was included with our WP theme included our front page footer by default. I edited the template to remove that, and this resolved the issue that I began this thread in an effort to resolve. My thanks for your assistance chasing that down.

While I was doing this though I realized that–from what I can tell–postie seems to create new posts using the classic wordpress editor rather than the block editor. This creates other visually unappealing issues that I’d like to try and iron out. Can you confirm if this is the case, and if there is a way to convert the emails to block posts instead?

Hi Wayne,

Since our last exchange I’ve been manually posting to the site as I was unable to resolve the issue. I did try turning off all the other plugins but this seemed to have no effect, as the post still displayed the graphical glitch.

In your message above you suggested that our theme might be causing the issue. I realize that this forum isn’t intended to provide tech support for our WP theme, but if there is anything you might know that might be helpful as I continue to chase this down I’d be very appreciative to hear it.

Hi again Wayne, thanks for your response. I checked and did send the email I refer to above to the correct address. Maybe it landed in your spam? I recently received a response from you to another email I sent a few weeks prior, which you stated had been caught by your spam filter.
