When not logged in as admin I’m seeing the “gto” spelling error, whereas when I’m logged in as admin I’m seeing the text I changed it to (“Please select your preferred date and time.”).

OMG I didn’t even think that could be edited on the fly like that (yes, I’m admin)! I’ve made the change and it seemed to have stayed as browsing from my phone shows the new text, however when I clicked the link in my first post, it showed the spelling error again….confused…? Will try clearing cache etc.

Thanks wstylejp but unfortunately I can’t find it using that plugin.

I have downloaded the whole site to my local machine and run the Find in Files option in Notepad++ but even that doesn’t find the incorrect spelling. My only next option I think is to remove the plugin and reinstall, unless you can think of any other ideas.

I tried your suggestion, but the only text I can see and edit is the shortcode: [salon/]

I have found this text in the Salon/Tools/Settings debug section;

“custom_texts”: {
“When do you want to come?”: “When do you gto come?”

I haven’t added this and don’t know whether its suppose to “overrule” the typo.

I’ve also checked all the Salon settings and there isn’t any custom text I can manually set.

It would be really useful to be able to specify our own text. I’d like to change it to “Choose from the options below for your appointment date and time.”

Sorry, I’ve removed the carousel option for the time being as it looked very odd. I can re-enable it if you get the chance to take a quick look.

I’ve not touched the settings for a few years (when I first installed the site).

WRG to the image, I have been using the Featured Image option as the picture to display in the carousel. I’ve also checked the Portfolio Post Options and each portfolio item has the same settings. Also, I’ve not installed any new plugins for awhile although I do update them regularly so I suppose one of those might have caused the problem.

I’m trying a few options around the slider settings and slider gallery as I don’t recall seeing that when it was first installed.

Just been looking into this further and I wonder if it is something to do with the Max Image/Slider Height and Width values?

Fantastic! Thanks, that worked and it now matches the sites theme colour.

One thing I’ve noticed is that it also changes the top menu when you move the mouse over one of the entries. In my case, the menu option is black, then when you hover over it, it disappears because its the same colour as the header colour. I got round this by making the primary colour in basic styling subtly different from the header colour.

I found the ‘all products portfolio’ page under Misc settings and set it to the page I wanted, so thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

WRG to the icon colours, I was hoping to change the hover colour to the same as another part of the site (by default its blue) rather than the background. Any ideas to change just that part?
