DiviArea.hide(DiviArea.getArea(‘#’+PopoverToClose));
works… !

Its great for me (to find a fix) because I have only one worker function to close the popups – But a bit of a mouthful for those that need to do a big search and replace ??

Sorry: I am not being particularly helpful – this is a live site: I cant deliberately create the error on there and leave it up.
I will try to find a site where I can replicate that is not live…

Unfortunately it was ver: 2.2.1 that created the problem & I have been waiting back at 2.1.1 ever since…
I will try it again – but unless you have changed 2.2.1 since its release I don’t see how it will help.

also the DiviArea.addAction(“ready”…) problem has not been addressed yet either (please see my prior post)

Have managed to confirm working fine with Ver 2.1.1 (the last prior version I still have a copy of)

Thanks for the update on the Docs.
The full API is really useful for us devs – there are always a million+1 use cases (inc. edge cases) that the API helps facilitate with ease as opposed to writing a raft of hinkey special case code snippets. : So, I am looking forward to it.
Re: Rating – You provide this plugin for free: its wonderfully efficient , a super timesaver and also very versatile, so I feel you deserve a big shout out.

I understood about DiviPopup being an alias for DiviArea – that is derived from the ‘master’ package for DiviArea’s – That’s why I tried it.

IMHO : Popups for Divi is the best “popover” plugin for Divi on WordPress I have found – a 5 star plugin ….

tested on two completely separate WP Divi sites, and on Chrome and Firefox
The page has to be reloaded from revisions: Gave me the scare of my life: a simple data amend to a LIVE site..
wp_posts->post_content is not getting written… :-O

@cathlisting : you can manually install the popup by specifying an ID (your choice) and setting the class to “popup” in the section area …

Many thanks for your ongoing attention – I will have to follow your steps tomorrow (this has caused a bit of a backlog trying to fix) -For now, All I can mention is that we have GoCardless installed like this on a number of sites (with different templates & which have been running for “ages”) & I have installed Wordfence on a number of them with exactly the same result…, So I would guess this is not an aberration. – I will get back to you with results as soon as I can
