My host provider just emailed me.

He said he renamed my wp-login.php.backup to wp-login.php and that solved my login problem!
OK, great , but where did the wp-login.php.backup some from? And what happened to my original wp-login.php file?

Does this make sense?

esmi: I have reset the plugins folder but the problem did not go away. How do I switch to default theme without wp-admin page?

I’ve tried it using IE9 and Firefox. It is hosted thru MidPhase.com Have had no problems with them before.

Today I got a notice to upgrade my WordPress to 3.4.2
Since upgrading I have had no problems. We will wait to see what happens the new new post, but so far so good with the upgrade of WordPress to 3.4.2

I’ll repost if the problem returns.

I am running MistyLook 3.7.2. And have been for years. This problem has only existed since the last update. Following your suggestion, I installed and made Twenty Eleven active. The problem exits with Twenty Eleven also.

Good for you usdavid. I am not as lucky.
I also followed the link and then exchanged emails with them. They stated that they had it fixed and to try it again, but I am still experiencing the same problem.

You mentioned having success after installing Exec_PHP. What is it and where did you get it? I also would like to put the mailchimp form on a separate page as it is too wide for my sidebar.
