Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Star rating widget/pluginHi Raul,
You might try the GD Ratings System. You’ll need the pro version and then you’ll need the Multi Ratings add-on, also will likely need some customization to fit your needs.

In reply to: Word Press Set Up@lizk21 perhaps you were hoping to set-up a blog via wordpress.com?
wordpress.com is for blogs hosted by WordPress, similiar to blogger, simple and quick set-up but you have a domain that is:
someblogname.wordpress.com
www.ads-software.com is for self-hosted blogs run on your own domain, takes a little more time to set-up, requires a registered domain that you own and you pay for hosting (GoDaddy, Name Cheap, etc), and has it’s own name:
myownsite.com

In reply to: Installation errorHi Dan,
If you’re still struggling with your install for The Navigation Inn site, you may need to check your DNS settings. Those are the settings that point your domain to a certain place/host. When you set up your Wix site, you had to point your site to Wix’s name servers. Now that you want to switch to a WordPress site, you’ll need to remove those servers (as you longer wish to use Wix) and point the site back to your regular web host (in this case, GoDaddy).
Here is GoDaddy’s guide to setting up name servers on their hosting using cPanel:
https://www.godaddy.com/help/setting-up-nameserver-dns-using-cpanelwebhost-manager-8467Depending on your hosting (shared vs dedicated, etc) package, you may have to dig a bit further for the appropriate instructions, but this may get you started.
I hope this helps!
