it seems to be working now. I guess I run OMGF when my security plugin was still active

Thanks for your quick reply!BTW: how do I check where is/was this self-signed certificate?

In reply to: [Smart Slider 3] How to set slide background color?Hi @nextendweb_gabor
I just tried, following your advice to set 1 slide background color + stretching this color
till the boundary of the image/slide but the color in the background remains on top of the slides’ image and the border padding remains the same although the value is 0 both in the
background color part than in the content part. Also now I can’t take the background color away!
I made the changes in the first 2 slides of this page
https://pc-designer.permacultura-es.org/proyectos/restauracion-de-una-terraza/Hi @elviiso
I think the only difference is in the php version.
The installed version of PHP in the laptop via XAMPP is 7.3.3
while the one in the host server is 7.4 (where everything seems to work fine)Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Import hangs after database restoredHi @yaniiliev
eventually I realized that the import had worked.
Yes I have a security plugin. So this didn’t allow me to immediately log in, so I had to resort to disabling all plugin in the directory wp-content/plugins by changing the dir name
so I could finally login and then re-activate them one by one.
So now I am done! Thanks for your support Yani!

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Import hangs after database restoredUPDATE:
I decided to stop the IMPORT process and after calling my website in the new host (localhost) but I see that the website has been fully restored. However I see that I cannot log in. Actually the login screen doesn’t even appear: after I typehttps://localhost/mysite/wp-admin or wo-login.php
instead I receive an error page similar to a 404 error page and can’t access my website dashboard.
What can I do to access the dashboard?
May the way I stopped the IMPORT have affected the accessibility to the dashboard somehow?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] importing failsThanks your quick reply @yaniiliev
ok I see that I haden’t changed some of the values. After doing this, ithas proceeded to do the import.
However I see that after the DB has been restored (a white dialog appears in the middle
of the screen saying this and also that“Please do not close this browser window or your import will fail”
) the program seems to be still running (it has been for a few hours now) Is it normal?
Do you want me to open a new thread for this?

A-ha! ok I see now.
BTW, is there any specific advantange in including this css code there instead then in the theme’s custom css area?
Kind regards- This reply was modified 2 years, 5 months ago by sinergyinaction.
Hi @elviiso
I added the following line within the custom css section:color: white;
but it didn’t work!
I had to resort to put some css on the custom code section of my theme.
Why do you think that css I used in the gallery css section doesn’t work?
Kind regardsThanks @vupdraft !!
any explanation for this? Why is my IP the problem?
My intuition told me that the IP could be the problem, but is there any way to get around that without having to whitelist other IPs?- This reply was modified 2 years, 7 months ago by sinergyinaction.

In reply to: Can’t access admin board from another laptopThanks for your reply @threadi
my version of ithemes doesn’t allow me to do what you write.
As for your suggestion, are you suggesting that I deactivate plugins by entering the dashboard through with my usual computer and at the same time check with the other if I can log in and the message has desappeared?- This reply was modified 2 years, 7 months ago by sinergyinaction.
Just checked and apparently that is not happening.
But also now it doesn’t seem to be so slow.
As for the questionWhat tools are using to optimise your site?
Are you deferring loading of JS and using lazy load?I am not sure what to answer to be honest! How would I check this?
Thanks! I’ll check it out
let me know by the why if you solve it and how.
