health check shows nothing and considering I put 4.9.1 on a brand new account on a completely different web host today tells me that it has nothing to do with a “theme or plugin” because the new host had absolutely nothing to do with the old one

the only thing that has been the same on both has been CloudFlare running the show, but I have never had an issue with CloudFlare removing URLs and breaking images only when I click on edit post before

as soon as I click “edit post” I get this for all of my broken images –

if I don’t edit or update a post everything just works perfectly. Just now when I click edit and look very quickly I can see the image URL disappear before my eyes and turn into what it is above.

no shit neotrope, thanks for that absolutely useless piece of information. I found what it was. I don’t have social media anything let alone a stupid plugin. Yoast updated and now on the main page of this site I have <—-YOAST SEO— <link rel=’dns-prefetch’ href=’//platform-api.sharethis.com’ />->

maybe you need to learn to manage your comprehensive skills a bit better before replying rudely,

it only occurred directly after Yoast updated itself

I constantly get the message “YOU HAVE SEO PROBLEMS”

I click the link and it says “we notice you have been using Yoast for a long time, please leave a 5 star review” how the fk is this an seo error, fk you yoast

I tick ‘never show me again’ and surprise surprise, WHAT MESSAGE DO I GET THE VERY NEXT DAY?repeatedly

I’m getting this too – Yoast is a real POS lately

god damn Yoast broken my site more times than it’s helped me that’s for sure

thank you for the great support – in the end it was my problem. For any one else who may get this issue, it is down to FileZilla FTP transfers being sent as ASCII and BINARY, you need to set it to BINARY only otherwise your file will be all messed up.

no just through the wordpress dashboard. I gave up on FTP’ing my backup because it just wasn’t working properly on the new host
