After that go back to the same place and select the category you wanted to show up there and click “Publish” again.

If you’re referring to this logo – https://fontawesome.com/icons/youtube then I’m afraid it is not possible right now since Juliet uses Font Awesome v4 and that font is part of the version 5 icons.

That’s standard Custom HTML widget that is part of WordPress installation. The image is inserted using the usual HTML syntax and the text just continues in another paragraph after the image.

The Follow Me is actually the Navigation Menu widget that has the Social menu selected in it. That menu is covered in https://help.lyrathemes.com/article/224-social-media-links

In case of free Kale, that resizing does not happen, unless I’m mistaken or it is due to the fact that the one I see right now is 6000x4000px and the theme simply couldn’t handle that big image.

So you’ll need to manually resize and reupload them.

The reason for the excessive white space is your logo – it has a lot of transparent space below and especially above the actual logo.

What you should refresh is the kale-thumbnail size.

I’m fairly certain that once you trigger regeneration of those from the Simple Image Sizes plugin, and it finishes its job, that all of them would be the same size (provided that the image was of sufficient dimensions to start with).

Basically, a 1200×800 image used for the featured image would generate all other images to be exactly the same size.

You can also install the Simple Image Sizes plugin – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/simple-image-sizes/ and use it to regenerate kale-thumbnail size.
Yes, I know that it is old, outdated and untested… but it works.
