@robhob thank you. Reparing the databases worked in my case. I just selected them all and did the repair. Took only a few seconds.

@edluvables I switched to the other plugin, which is based on this one. “easy table of contents”. You should do the same. I think this here has been dropped and is not being supported or updated anymore.

I completely understand that. However, my site is busy and I just couldn’t afford leaving it broken for a day or two. I had to find a solution fast and I did.

I use the extra theme from elegantthemes with the latest wordpress version. That’s all I can do now to help. I used your shortcode on my “home” page as a sort of news feed. So I couldn’t just let it sit there.

sorry. Life is fast and I have been working all night to implement the facebook plugin of your competitor. I got that to work and it looks nice, so I won’t be using your plugin anymore.

It was just like I said. At the bottom of the post feed, there was just a cut-off. The last post would just be cut in half, through the text and everything.

There was no pagination, no “load more” button and infinite scroll only worked 1 time out of the 4-5 times I tried putting the page plugin at the top/bottom.

Sorry. My only advice is to d it like your competitor – add a troubleshooting link to the pages where errors might occur. I am not a programmer, I don’t know how they did it but when I got an error a suggestion to solve the problem popped right up (and worked).

Yes, I understand. But I didn’t even know that I had set a restriction and that error message was like chinese to me.

So it might be a good idea to add thatto a q&a or troubleshoot.

Like I said, the other facebook plugin I am using now showed me a way to resolve the error RIGHT when the error happened. That was pretty awesome.

Okay, I had the same problem when using your competitor, however, they immediately showed a link with the solution to the problem:

You have to remove all restrictions (like age restrictions) from your facebook page

Tried if it saved anything. It didn’t.

I just entered a name and my facebook page, to keep it simple. Still get the same error. Will try a competitor until you reply.

I am already using a different plugin that works great. It was really bad that your plugin didn’t work after the update and I didn’t notice it sooner. I missed out on a lot of subscribers during that crucial time.

was about to install, then saw this.. what is not working at the moment?

I did confirm this error 3 times. Then I didn’t want to repair my htaccess file anymore and deleted the plugin. No single error or issue ever since and no issue before wise chat.

I am 100% sure that if I were to install and activate the plugin right now, I would get a server error within a few hours.

It was with the newest version.. I have deleted the plugin, but only because I realized I won’t use it. It looked good, so when this issue is fixed, I’d recommend it ??

It just crashed my server again manipulating the htaccess file. I believe you that it’s not doing that directly, but it’s causing something that’s doing it.

This also happens when using random (probably from the moment the cube horizontal was chosen)
