    Update,

It seems that I have three websites that are doing this. They are on separate servers. All currently updated to WordPress 4.5.3

One the Visual editor when creating a new post doesn’t work, yet the Customizer still works.

On another the Customizer doesn’t work, nor does the Visual Editor with new post creation.

The third, Visual editor kinda works, Customizer/header page does not.

All were created at different times, two were created years before WordPress 4+ was introduced and the last was just created in May of this year.

Also I’m dealing with two hosting companies, one has replied saying it’s a scripting error, and still working on the issue. While the other immediately washed their hands of the issue as stated above in the original post.

    Update:

Just heard from the hosting company ( finally ), they state that we need to optimize our scripts. However they didn’t tell us which scripts to optimize. And really we don’t use that many scripts in the first place.

It’s odd, however, that when disabling the plugins nothing changed the 500 Internal Server Error. Unless they’re not talking about the plugin scripts.

And the really odd part is, these “scripts” that are using too many system resources have only started to fail in the past month, 1 year on this current hosting contract.

We still feel it could be the fact they have moved us on to another server ( without our knowledge/consent ). Which could have different system restrictions than the first server we were on for the good part of a year.

Is there a way to find out what the server IP was initially before our unwanted move?

@pioneer Valley Web Design – Thank you for your reply.

However the only thing I hadn’t already done/thought of was the Sucuri scan, which I did and showed up as nothing.

The hosting company checked ( apparently ) the wp-admin and wp-content and they state they can see nothing wrong. I do not like the idea of destroying the website we have worked on so hard. Nothing like this has happened even weeks after the latest WordPress Core update.

I have asked about creating a new website with new install of WordPress and seeing if we can recreate the load on it. Seeing if that would put a stress on the server to crash all our websites. Still waiting for reply.

However how can one WordPress website take out 20 others in the same directory?

As for the adult content, this is more humor/educational ( dropping the F-bomb ) website, however still considered adult content. As a rule I don’t visit those sites as I have no interest. And statistically speaking you have a greater chance getting viruses on almost any website not just warez site or adult sites.

So no one has had this issue before?

    angelo_nwl,

Thank you for your response, we’re currently using the Twenty Ten theme and after a update we found the weird spacing issue.

I uploaded the image to another image sharing site, I have only shown the issue itself and not the rest of the page as the content can be alternative in nature.

A friend has suggested it being a CSS issue with the plugin as nothing to the website was changed prior to the plugin update.

    Thank you in advance.

@aglonwl: It would create a new post say a few days before the event to generate interest. I would hope it could be done a few days prior.

@marcus: Also published on my website too as a New Post? Because I’ve found people don’t always go to the Events Calendar first, so manually posting the event helps direct their attention to the Events Calendar.

Thank you for your response, agelonwl.

I’m guess you mean for me to use CSS to customize all the pages. Since there is not just specific page for just the calendar. ( I did ask in the initial post about where to find the exact CSS i.e. style.css )

I also tried the Full Calendar Templates, no luck. The instructions are a detailed process, but does not show where exactly to restrict the over all size of the calendar in the calendar-full.php file . I can restrict parts of it but then it looks even more messed up.

    Thanks again.

Where would the “table.em-calendar” be located?

I have been to Installed Plugins > Events Manager > Edit > Plugin Files.

And what would happen if I restrict the overall width of the large calendar. Would it push everything downwards?

I do feel this is an excellent plugin, if I could just get this one thing fixed. Because its causing the page to side scroll now.

    Thank you.

I am also trying to figure out how to reduce the size of the Large Calendar so it won’t bleed over to the side bar.

I have seen how to increase the size of the large calendar to take over the entire page. As it has been explained in the instructions. But nothing for reducing the size.

    Thank you.
