Howdy! It looks like you’ve since switched themes, but if anyone else has the same issue, a plugin like Regenerate Thumbnails should fix it:

The theme uses a specific thumbnail size that needs to be created before the images will appear.

I did a quick test and was able to get a PO file to work with Sunspot. You can view the base PO I used here (no translations):

The biggest difference I noticed was your file is looking in a directory above (../404.php, ../archive.php, etc.) and mine is looking in the same directory (404.php, archive.php, etc.) so I think there is some confusion with the directory structure and the location of the PO file.

Ensure your file is located in the parent theme’s /languages folder (unless you’ve told it to look somewhere else in your child theme) and, if that fails, try using the above PO file.

The version currently on www.ads-software.com hasn’t been updated with the ability to add Featured Images to Pages yet, but the above version should work. Give that a shot and let us know how it goes. Thanks!

Maybe it needs to be opacity: 1.0? No ideas why one would work over the other, but as long as it’s working now, awesome. You could set it to 0.99 if you needed to.

Howdy! Just a note to say this has been fixed for WordPress.com users, with a fix for the self-hosted version coming shortly.

When you use the easy upload functionality in Panel, both images will appear in the editor, but the one in the content area will be stripped out if it’s the same as the one that’s featured.
