I need to implement this functionality, However I tried changes mentioned by you but its not working.
Can you please suggest/provide detail changes needs to be done.

I tried all these options.
If I set logo from theme options -> basic settings then logo appears on front page but header text does not.
Looks like its allowing to set either logo or header text.

Please suggest any option to set both logo and text.
