NP. It seems my current theme (Mystique) has issues with the plugin. With the new one, my pages won’t load. Only the front page. With the old one, they’ll only load partially. So there’s still a problem, but it’s in the interaction between Mystique and next-gen. Not sure how to fix it. I might need to switch to a different theme, even though I love the Mystique theme…

Is the only way of creating a facebook app by registering with my phone number? I really don’t want to give FB my number…

This version doesn’t even show up on my front page at all. The old one I had (2.2.15) works fine so I’m sticking with that one.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I’m having an issue on the same page:

When I click Edit Album, and I want to select a thumbnail image, the list doens’t show images from the galleries in the album, but a handfull of other images, which have nothing to do with the selected album.

No, I always disable the old one, then activate the new one, then if it works, delete the old directory. I add the version number to the directories so I know which one is the old one and the new one.

I got this upon activating 0.9.2.4:

Using WP 3.3.1 and standard 2010 theme. Reverted back to 0.9.1.3

Tried it on a site with standard 2010 theme. Same result.

That should be implemented in WordPress 3.1
Check the admin panel and click Settings -> discussion. There’s a lot of settings for comments there.

I have these settings:
Break comments into pages with 20 top level comments per page and the last page displayed by default
Comments should be displayed with the newer comments at the top of each page.

The strange thing is though, that the page that has the comments, shows a link to “newer comments” on the first page, while those ARE the newest comments, and the other pages are OLDER comments. So the links are the wrong way around. Kinda annoying.
I wonder if that’s a flaw in my theme or in WP3.1

I hope you’ll get a solution. I don’t know why a theme would not have the option to comment on pages, as you can always turn that option off in wordpress, but by editing the php files a solution should be possible, I just don’t know how.

I’m using the safe_flight_wp template by Wrangler (https://www.free-wordpress-theme.net/)
And I can comment on posts, but it seems I can’t comment on pages…
I’m no php wizard, so could anyone check this theme to see if it’s possible to comment on pages in this theme, and if not, what I should do to enable comments on pages.
I really love this theme, so I’d hate to go search for a new one…

So, to sum this up: WordPress 3.1 will fix the whole dragging problem with the gallery? I’m using WP3.0.4, and NGgallery 1.7.3. I’m no good at coding or applying patches like the ones mentioned here. I usually screw things up. So if the problem will go away with the new WP release, I’ll simply wait…

I’m using Mystique. I’ll give it a try. I hate getting these bot registrations.

Thanks very much. It seems the directory MUST be named w3-total-cache, and no others may co-exist, even if they are deactivated.
I usually name my subfolders, deactivate the old plugin, activate the new one to see if it works, then delete the old folder.
