Hi @valwa,
With further testing, it looks like this bug may be related to having the Renaming Methods > Manual > Sanitize > Enable option selected. When we deselect this option, the renaming works as expected. We’re guessing the Sanitize option is turned on by default. We don’t recall turning it on purposefully. But it has been a few months since we first installed it. In any case, the behavior of injecting extra characters when the Sanitize is turned on still appears to be there in Version 6.0.5. Also note, this seems to only be affecting PDFs. JPG and PNG files rename just fine with the sanitize option turned on.
Thanks for continuing to look into this.

In reply to: [Admin Menu Editor] Integration with Freesoul Deactivate PluginsAny update on this? Thanks for looking into it! Trying to manage the admin menu is difficult with these two plugins active at the same time.
Hi @valwa – Just checking on the status of this. Thanks!
We’ve tried Edge and Firefox with the same results.
We purchased Filebird Pro and can confirm the taxonomy is available in Admin Columns Pro with Filebird Pro installed. It’s not available in Filebird Lite.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Admin Menu Editor] Integration with Freesoul Deactivate PluginsThanks to both of you for looking into this. I also found this post which may be related:

I wasn’t clear if that was part of a potential solution or not. There was a reply from the user so unsure if it resolved their issue.

In reply to: [Zapier for WordPress] Cronjob warning after update to 1.0.6We’re seeing the same thing. Maybe this was a regression in code:

In reply to: [Advanced Custom Fields: Font Awesome Field] Deprecated warning with PHP 8.2Hi,
WPEngine will be moving its customers from PHP 8.0 to 8.2 before Nov this year. They aren’t offering the option to upgrade to PHP 8.1. When we try to upgrade to 8.2, we get this error as well.

In reply to: [User Role Editor] Possible conflict with The Events Calendar ProSome additional info. We believe we’ve tracked this down to the ure_manage_options capability. Without this selected, Authors can’t edit The Event Calendar Series instances with the GeneratePress site them enabled. Same issue if the Twenty Twenty-One site them is enabled. If the Twenty Twenty-Three site them is enabled, the editing of Series instances succeeds – even without the ure_manage_options capability enabled. So there’s something going on with GeneratePress, The Events Calendar, User Role Editor, or all three that’s causing an issue with updating instances of event series. We’ve opened tickets with GeneratePress and The Events Calendar plugin support. Providing this update in case URE support has some ideas on what may be going on here.
Thanks

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Potential WP Go Maps conflictJust checking in to see if there’s an ETA on TEC-4810. We were using the temporary workaround mentioned in a previous comment. However, we’re trying to troubleshoot another significant issue with TEC and need to update to the latest version but can’t until the maps plugin issue is resolved as it makes the calendar plugin unusable. Thanks for any info you can pass along.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Potential WP Go Maps conflictConfirmed that the latest version of TEC and WP Go Maps still have this conflict:
The Events Calendar – Version 6.1.2.2
The Events Calendar Pro – Version 6.1.0
WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps) – Version 9.0.19
WP Go Maps – Pro Add-on – Version 9.0.20Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Potential WP Go Maps conflictWe’re seeing this issue as well. A temporary workaround for us is to revert back to The Events Calendar 6.0.13. You can continue using The Events Calendar Pro 6.0.12.1 as far as we can tell. You can also us the latest version of WP Go Maps (9.0.19) and WP Go Maps Pro (9.0.20).
Not sure if this is the root cause, but the release notes for 6.0.13 include a reference to:
Fix – In block editor there were unnecessary geocode API calls being triggered for Event Venue blocks. Moved logic within stateful conditions, now it no longer runs fetch if the address has not actually changed. [TEC-4741]
There’s also a post on the WP Go Maps user forums about this issue.

In reply to: [User Role Editor] Possible conflict with The Events Calendar ProSomething also to confirm. Without making any changes to which plugins or themes are active, if we add the Administrative role to a test account that gets this error, it can successfully edit the instance of the series without errors. So there seems to be something with permissions/capabilities either in User Role Editor or TEC.
Just a follow up on this. The delay using the WP Cron option isn’t significant so no need to make update the plugin ??
Thanks again for the quick response.
