I just checked and I have the same issues with the preview using IE9 on Windows 7. My apologies if I caused a stir for the wrong issue. With the default twenty twelve theme on a default WordPress install (no settings changed from the installed defaults), I can’t reproduce the problem at all. It’s only using IE that I notice the issue while previewing the theme here on this site.
Lance – actually it may only be an issue with the theme preview option here on this site. I created a test WordPress site and installed/activated Twenty Twelve and can’t reproduce the issue. Yet here, on this site, when I preview the theme using IE10 on Windows 8, if you click to view a post, the formatting changes to look more like the Twenty Eleven theme. When I view the same previews here using Chrome or Firefox, even on Windows 8, the preview posts look as they should for the Twenty Twelve theme.
Windows 8 (with IE 10 included) was released on October 24. Any updates on these bugs? Thanks!
Do you mean IE10 is still in testing, or the Twenty Ten theme is still in testing for IE10? I’m just asking because Windows 8 is already available for purchase and deployment by Microsoft’s volume license customers. So I’m pretty sure IE10 won’t have any significant changes by the time Windows 8 is available for retail sales at the end of October.
But it is a good point that it’s still a month away for most people.
Anyway, I just wanted to point it out, in case no one had tried it on IE10 yet. Thanks!
