There are a couple of things that could be causing this issue. In order to look into this further, would it be possible to add a snippet I’ll share with you and try to reconnect?
This snippet will change how our plugin connects to your site and show you the full error that can give us some more insight into what may be happening to cause the error.
If you’re unsure on how to proceed, we’ve created a blog article that may be useful. I like using the free Code Snippets plugin to make the process easier.

Currently, the plugin only supports syncing WooCommerce products to Facebook, as such, we don’t have the ability to directly incorporate Google Product categories.
There are plugins out there that would bring over the Google Products to WooCommerce as Feeds, if you have a method to get the feeds to convert into products, this would then allow the plugin to sync them up.

Just to make sure that the WooCommerce database upgrade routines completed successfully, can you please go to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and click the “Update database” tool to see if it helps? https://cloud.skyver.ge/o0u8lX04

The current release of Customizer will work with the 4.5.1 version of WooCommerce. Can you please go to your Plugins page and let me know what version of Customizer that you currently have installed?

I’m afraid a number of merchants have reported connection issues like the one you’re experiencing – I’m so sorry about that! We are working closely with Facebook to identify and correct these issues in their connection process.
To assist with their troubleshooting, would you be willing to share the email address used for your Facebook account and your Business Manager ID? If so, could you please contact us directly so we can exchange that information securely?

Would you please send along a screenshot or the complete text of the error message you are receiving? Does this error happen immediately upon clicking the Manage Connection button?

I’m afraid this type of sorting isn’t possible with the plugin at this time, though thanks so much for reaching out to check!
Reading through your requirement, I wondered if one of our other plugins might be a better fit for you. Nested Category Layout allows you to change your shop page so that it displays products by category and subcategories. It also works on category pages too.

I looked up conversation number 139475 in our help desk, but there didn’t seem to be one with that number or the email address you provided.
I am not sure if you have seen our recent post from today here, but if you continue to have connection issues, we are suggesting that you rollback to the previous 1.11.4 version of the plugin for the time being. Once we do get this issue worked out with Facebook, we will post an update and any merchants that have had the connection issue should then be able to update and connect successfully.
Again, we apologize for any inconvenience. You can rest assured that this is our top priority and we will work alongside Facebook to get this cleared up as quickly as possible.

The new version of the plugin will initially offer a migration process as the connection methods have changed some. At this time, you can use a Business Manager account, which you will have as an option when migrating.
Have you gone through the process of migrating the connection? If you have, are you seeing any of the previous pixel options during this process?

We are working closely with the Facebook team who is working on identifying the cause of these general connection errors. I’ll be sure to update you once we hear any news from their team regarding fixes to this issue.
In the meantime, would you please reach out to our support team through our site sharing the email address you use for your Facebook account so the Facebook team can take a look at the logs and determine why your attempts to connect are failing?
