Thanks for the update on this, sorry to hear that the issue persists. Following up on Simon’s last post, did you get any additional information from AfterPay on this?
Cheers,
Steve
SkyVergeHey @ludamrock ,
Thanks for contacting us about Braintree for WooCommerce! I’m happy to help out ??
The PayPal error code 10002 generally indicates that the credentials that have been entered in the settings don’t match the credentials on file with Braintree. This article reviews the setup process:
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-gateway-paypal-powered-by-braintree/#section-4
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-gateway-paypal-powered-by-braintree/#section-6
Would you please review the article and double-check the credentials in the gateway settings? Please let me know if this helps to get you connected!`
Cheers,
Steve

In reply to: [Braintree for WooCommerce Payment Gateway] gateway error logsHey @ulpher,
Thanks for contacting us about our Braintree for WooCommerce plugin! I’m happy to help out ??
You can get the error logs from the site by enabling logging for the gateway. This can be enabled by going to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Braintree and changing the Debug Mode setting to save to log.
Once this is enabled, you can find the log files in WooCommerce > Status > Logs. The log file will be in a base64 encoded string, so you will need to decode it with a tool such as https://www.base64decode.org/.
Can you please let me know if this helps to get the logging set up for you?
Cheers,
Steve

The PayPal IPN is responsible for notifying merchants on PayPal transactions. There should be no impact from our plugin with these changes.
That being said, I have not seen this mail from PayPal yet or heard of any impact that it could have on the PayPal side. Would it be possible to send a copy of the e-mail that you received so I can review it and see if there is any additional information that might impact the Braintree integration?
Cheers,
Steve

Hey @des79 ,

Did this stop working for you recently? The recent update to the plugin did also update the Braintree JavaScript SDK, so I am wondering if this somehow changed some of the information needed for your custom code.
Would you please let me know if this stopped working since the recent update?
Cheers,
Steve

Hope you had a great weekend!
On March 18, we released the 2.5.0 version of the plugin, which, among other changes, includes an update to the latest Braintree JavaScript SDK.
In order to make sure that this will work with the new refund process, I have reached out to our development team for further confirmation that this update will address this. As soon as I hear more information back from my query, I will get back to you and let you know any additional information on this, most likely sometime tomorrow.
In the meantime, can you please let me know if you have any additional questions?
Cheers,
Steve

We may be able to determine what is happening by taking a look at the log files.
To start with, would you please enable gateway logging?
- From your WordPress dashboard, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments.
- Find the payment method and click Manage.
- Change the Debug Mode field to “Save to Log”.
- Click Save Changes.
This will start logging all orders, successful or otherwise, placed with this gateway. To gather the logs, would you please follow the below steps?
- Head to WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
- Choose the gateway log from the dropdown and click the “View” button to display the log. Please note that the log may be in UTC/GMT time, so it may be offset by a few hours.
- Copy and paste the log into Snippi and share the resulting link. You can also paste the logs directly in your reply.`
Can you please let me know if you are able to capture any of these transactions in the log files?
Cheers,
Steve

SkyVergeHey @janez33 ,
Hope you had a good weekend!
Unfortunately, to achieve what you’re looking for would have to be done as a customization, which isn’t covered under our support policy. As such, implementing this isn’t something we can assist with directly.
However, I’d recommend that, for this situation, you look into using wc_braintree_paypal_locale.
?
I’m sorry I can’t offer more assistance here, though I hope you find this helpful nonetheless. Is there anything else I can help out with?Cheers,
Steve

First off, thanks for the links to the newer version of the logo, I will make a note of this for our team to review.
You mentioned that the URL is not working. This link in the image should take you to the button design page on PayPal but is there just for reference in the code.
Are you having any issues related to the images displaying or when checking out with PayPal?

Steve
