in the footer (left column), I’ve added a test submenu. It’s one item called “testing” which I linked to Google for testing purposes. I chose the following colors:

Submenue & overlay text – <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>Luminous vivid amber FCB900</span>
Submenu & overlay background – <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>Vivid cyan blue 0693E3</span>

The background shows the designated color, but the text color is white instead of Luminous vivid amber FCB900

Thanks for your help! I followed your advice and it seems that the color is not set on any other blocks, so not sure why I can’t change the color of my navigation block text to be anything else but white, here lvivecotour dot com

but for some reason the text color of the submenu does not change. It stays white when i pick different colors from the pallet.

A few more questions about the menu if you can help:
1. How to insert a menu title above the menu?
2. If I insert several menus, they come one under another and make the page look clumsy and long. How do I organize menus in the shape of columns to have, for example, three columns with a menu in each column in the footer.

As a side note, it would be good to have a tutorial for 2022 theme, as I find it hard to learn after working with 2021 theme.

Thanks for sharing. After I posted here, I did the same and contacted my host. They did something and the error is now gone. What I also did is deactivated and then activated again all of my plugins while the host was working on my problem. One way or another, the issue is no more.

Thank you. I thought that it was just a setting in the control panel that had to be changed. But it looks like in Twenty twenty-one WP theme, the page title of the Home page is meant to be hidden. If I change the code as you suggest, the changes will disappear in the next theme update it seems, unless I make it a child theme. So I will just put a Header there with the page title instead.

Thank you so much for your reply. My Themegrill Flash free theme was not showing embedded Google maps right on mobile devices. They were wider than screen on mobile devices. It looked fine on desktop screens though. So I have removed these maps, and that is why when you checked the page looked normal. I suppose one needs to have a special widget for embedding Google maps into Flash free theme, which is not available in the free version. I moved from Themegrill Spacious theme where Google maps looked normal.
