Yes, a hard refresh works. But looks like it needs to be done every time the analytics and manage links section is clicked.

And FWIW, I am using the Litespeed caching plugin But didnt have this issue before the update.

I just started using this plugin and quite surprised that in this day and age, not much thought was given to some basic security measures:

1. Email: It seems like the person asking question can practically put in anyone’s email (NOT GOOD)
2. Weak Captcha: The name says it all

Is this a deliberate attempt to bait and attempt to try and convert customers into paying for the plugin?

Hi buddy, this is not the plugin’s issue but a general WP issue. Refer to this article:

You can either use a plugin like CB Change mail sender or use the functions.php method to change the Name & Email address.

P.S: If you intend to use an email that is not your domain (such as gmail) be careful because most hosts don’t allow that. So, make sure that the email you put in will be email@domain.com

I’d hate to move to another social sharing plugin which offers what i’m looking for, but Simple social share is nice and i’m used to it.

Ok, my research into this issue has made me to conclude that the 403 error appears when adding logos (or infact any URL’s) under the >Theme Settings> Site logo/bookmark icons and the social links section.

It could be because the website in question is an addon domain and therefore something to do with file permissions.

I’m in touch with the hosting support on this issue and will update if there is any solution to this.

Were you able to fix the 403 error or are you using it without the logo and social links?

Same problem here. Adding logos or even the social links result in a 403 error. Surprising that no one has responded to this yet?

Tara changing WP_DEBUG to either false or true doesn’t rid of the error. Hope someone has a solution to this
