I’ve emailed the support person I spoke with to see if he can give me more direction on what you should ask for. I’ve let you know when I hear from him.

I don’t have a name for the script.just go higher up the ladder. My guy went to someone who handles their php. Probably a 2nd level support.

Ok…my site is fixed. GoDaddy called me back and the first thing he had me do was uninstall and reinstall. He said I actually should not have had to do that but when I did I still had errors. He said that he to reset things at the server. I think he moved me from 5.4 php to 5.3 php and then back and it worked. Next time i installed it was fine.

Again, I’m runnng on an economy server and was running 5.4 php and it was a new auto install. The same problme can occur on a manual install also but he said the problem was intermittent.

So the first time I called in he had someone run a script because it is a known problem. It takes a couple of hours to run the script. If it doesn’t fix the problem, then they will have you uninstall and try again. If it happens again, then they will need to do more at there end.

Whoever you speak with, you can have them send you an email so you can be in contact with the same person. Thi guy at last did call me back as soon as he came on duty.

Whew…now I can move forward.

Well, I’m sorry to say that it hasn’t seemed to help. I sent a message back to the support rep I spoke to but he won’t be in until this afternoon.

I installed a php error log so I can keep track but I won’t be working on the site until it is fixed. I’ll hold off on the manual installation to give him a chance to do his thing.

Actually, they told me it happens with a manual install also because of a php problem on their end.

THis was a new economy hosting running 5.4 php with cPanel. It was an auto install. Apparently this does happen as I indicated in the above post.

For what it’s worth I managed to get a support person who “seems” ro know what the problem is. He said it is not common but it does happen and it is a PHP problem at their end. They have a script they run that takes about 1-2 hrs and that should fix it.

He sent me an email to contact him if it is not corrected. So he said anyone having that issue should tell the support rep to check on a script that can fix it and they should be able to find someone to do it.

I’ll post if this script atually works.

If my client had not paid 5 years in avance I would move ASAP but at this point I have no choice. I may uninstall again reinstall manually.

I don’t trust much of anything that GoDaddy support says. After 5 conversations on the same subject I received 5 different responses. THey are the top of my list of where NOT to host. I may call them tomorrow but I doubt if it will do any good.

I’ll post my results on installing manually. What a pain.

I also had major problems with my upgrade and decided to go back to the previous version. I was using the vertical tabs and columns and when I upgraded, my columns were messed up and all of my tabs went horizontal. Plus my customizations went away.

When I have time I will try the updated version on my test site and see if i can figure out a way to work with it. Still love the plugin.

I watched the video and that is how i was adding it. I appreciate it.

I did finally get it working though. This is what i did.

It fits now right under the rest of the tabs and I think I feel comfrtable that I can add/move it where i need it to be within the tabs.

all i see is code.

Does this need to be set up as another set of tabs?

Can you tell me exactly where I would put it? I’m trying to put it in the theme files and I’ve tried Body Tag, Body Top, Body Header None of them seem to work.

Thanks for responding…I had to come up with another solution. I did most of what you were saying but had no luck. I always follow those steps before I contact support.

I’m getting the same error and it saysto check the FAQ’s but cannot find anything about it
