I did that long time ago. This posting is my last resort. It’s a client cite, they have a lousy hosting company and all they say is “we don’t support WordPress after it’s installed” We only support your hosting.

BTW, I’ve also eliminated a plugin conflict.

Once you have uploaded the plugin and activated it, go to the Facebook Tabs menu item on the Dashboard and click Add New.

I found the instructions on the page are pretty complete. It walks you through what to do and how to do it. Very explicit instructions are there for adding to Facebook page.

David has done a great job with this plugin having many updates since it was released. I’m not a programmer and I got a page up and running but still need to learn about how to accomplish the more involved pages I want.

Actually, it did get fixed but it was done by the hosting company who gave a lot of double talk about what they did. But I’ve used the plugin since then on other sites and have had no problem. So. sorry, I can’t tell you exactly what it was.

I’d like to know this also. It seems that his website is gone also. Zhe had lots of plugins. Anyone know what is going on with him?

Ok…some more information. Not sure if it will help.

I’ve noitced that when logging into the dashboard on IE8 with the right password, it just refreshes the screen. Kind of like looping back to me.

But, if I put in the wrong password it does give me the right error message.

So’ it’s kind of like it knows that the password is right but can’t send me to the right place. Again, ONLY in IE8.

Dos that help anyone have any ideas where to send me to look for a problem?

Does anyone have any other ideas for me to try? This is so frustrating. I have a feeling it is simple but I’m not even sure where to look anymore.

I will definitely try this again. I’m looking forward to it working.

Yes I did try that but forgot to mention it.. I’ve used the same theme for over 10 sites and would have been shocked if that was it. I’m not sure what else to try.

Yes I did that but still had a couple of issues with 64 bit. machines. Found another solution to use temporarily because I much prefer NextGen and the options. Thanks

I have deleted started over etc etc. I still have the same problems. I want to try the fix above but am not sure of the difference between the shades of green and read. I’m “assuming” that the red gets replace with the green? I’m not a coder but not afraid to try this if it will work. Just need to understand what goes where. Thanks for all of your help.

Ok…so the problem seems to be with something I am doing wrong. I looked at your page https://nextgen-gallery.com in both Firefox and IE. I’m running WP 3.01. Any particular plugin conflict issues that you are aware of?

This is so frustrating. I’m sure it must just be a setting?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’m having the same problems with both IE7 and IE8. Works fine in Firesfox and Safari an Chrome.

I saw the fix above but not sure where it should go. The red is what is already there and the green is the fix? I don’t want to change anything wrong.

Sorry, my first message was to the wrong forum.

Can i change links on this one? For example if I have a few pages in a WPMU install and they have certain links on them. I will be cloning the site but will need to change those links in each of the sites. Will Search & Replace work for this.

I noticed someone said it wasn’t working on WPMU (WP 3.01) Please tell that is not the case?

How are you inputting it? I have it working on several sites with no problem. However once in a while I forget and don’t check “Hide”

Also, in reviewing mine, I find that most are something like this

speaker/keynote-speaker without the full URL but in others I have the full URL. You might try it both ways.

The one one that has a static front page I’ve set it up with a wildcard such as blog/* and those pages do not show up on any post in the blog.
