Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Fullwidth Slider Larger then sites containerYou need to put template tag of the slider in theme’s PHP file before the content area container. You can make changes in header.php and add template tag below the menu code. There you can also put condition to let it appear on front page only. Cosmo Slider WordPress plugin comes with template tag and is a full width slider. You can find many other sliders with such feature.
I hope it answers your question.

In reply to: [Smooth Slider] Smooth Slider not in back-end menu usersHi
The access level is set to add or delete posts from the slider. The administrative level access will always remain with the admin of the site to create or manage a new or existing slider.
Apology for the confusion.

In reply to: [Smooth Slider] slider is messup please helpHi
Thanks for sharing the theme. Here are few steps that may fix the issue.
1. Open the footer.php and comment the below piece of code by adding // in-front of that,
// $ftlink = new ftlink(); // do_action('wp_footer');
2. Open header.php and comment the below piece of code which loads the jquery.min.js,
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.9.1/jquery.min.js"></script>
3. In your theme’s folder named “functions”, edit the file _default-functions.php and comment the following lines which are there inside the function named loadDefaultScripts,
wp_deregister_script( 'jquery' ); wp_register_script( 'jquery',get_bloginfo('template_url').'/js/jquery.min.js'); wp_enqueue_script( 'jquery' );
Once you make the changes, please let me know if it helped.

In reply to: [Smooth Slider] Making the width widerSorry to know that you had to move to other slider in the meantime. Setting slider’s width is very easy in Smooth Slider as there is an option to set the width on its settings page. Go to the Basic Settings tab ==> Basic Controls section ==> Change the value in Slider Width field. Save changes.
Thanks for trying Smooth Slider.
