    The ‘Inline JS Minification” cause issue with the Smooth Slider. Please try disabling this option on the “Minify” page and see if the slider works.

    In the next version of Smooth Slider, we will fix this issue. Thanks for your patience.

    Go to the Smooth Slider settings page ==> Basic Settings tab ==> Miscellaneous section ==> Enter the below CSS in “Custom Styles” box and save the changes,

    .smooth_slider_fouc .smooth_slider {z-index:0 !important;}

    Let me know if it helps.

    In the next version of Smooth Slider, we will introduce an option to disable ads on admin pages. Apology for the inconvenience caused.

    Use !important parameter in the CSS to override the inline styles. For example

    .smooth_slideri {width:300px !important;}

    Now this will override the width of the slides even if he style is appearing inline. Let me know if it helps.

    Hi ccahill1,

    Thanks for removing the piece of code from your site’s header section and as I can see, the slider is working perfectly fine. The issue with the sharing option is appearing because you have used $ in the script. I would suggest you to use jQuery instead of $ in the script to make that non conflicting. Or you need to use the no.conflict script in your site’s header.

    You can find more details here – https://api.jquery.com/jQuery.noConflict/

    Hi,

    I tested your site on IE8, 9 and found no issue with the slider. The slider is appearing and sliding perfectly fine on these IE versions. You can also check the demo page below and see if the Smooth Slider appears on your system on IE8 or 9.

    Go to the Smooth Slider settings page ==> Basic Settings tab ==> Miscellaneous section ==> Select “Author, Editor and Administrator” for the field “Minimum User Level to add Post to the Slider” and save the changes.

    Now author, editor and admin will be able to add posts to the slider. It will not give them admin access but only authority to add posts to the slider.

    Let me know if it helps.

    Hi,

    The Smooth Slider is not working properly because of the multiple instances of jquery.js loading on your site. As your theme is already loading the one from wp-includes folder, there is no ned to load the same file or other version of the same file from anywhere else.

    Remove the below piece of code and see if Smooth Slider works properly,

    <script src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-latest.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

    It is loading in the HEAD section of your site, so check the header.php of your theme.

    Let me know if it helps.

    Hi,

    I would advice you to checkout the Thumbel Slider WordPress Plugin. It is having the similar layout with large image in sliding area and thumbnails at the bottom. You can even change the thumbnail image and large image using the ‘custom fields’. The plugin is deeply integrated with WordPress and can fetch posts/slide from multiple places like ‘recent posts’, specific category, tags, multiple category, media library etc.

    Checkout the demo here – slidervilla.com/thumbel/

    SliderVilla Support team can customize the slider for you for free.

    As I can see the slider is working fine now. In case you still find the issue with the current slider of your theme, checkout premium sliders for WordPress at slidervilla.com.

    Easy to install and prompt after sale support.

    I am sure you can find a slider for your requirement on SliderVilla.com. There are multiple sliders over there and you can choose any of them as per your requirement. The settings page i.e. admin side is very easy to customize and you can control the slider 100% from there.

    The slider will auto scan the post content and fetch the image from there Or you can set the featured image to make the slider. You can also choose to create a slider directly from media library (no need to publish a post). You can also link to anywhere you want (internal or external web pages). All sliders are responsive.
