Just checking if there has been any progress on this as nothing has changed?

Every time I create a new post that I don’t want included for internal linking, I immediately put it on the “global blacklist” before saving. I then wait for the Linkindex to reach 100% but internal links are still being added to the post anyway and ignoring the blacklist. I needed to rebuild the entire index “multiple times” and cleared the entire cache for the links to finally disappear. But when you have thousands of posts, rebuilding the entire index multiple times when adding just one new post and then clearing the entire cache is just wasting a lot of resources. Is there any other way around this or will it need to be done each time a new post is added?

Before eBay discontinued its dedicated service in 2020, we used to be able to customise the shortcode and change the keyword on different pages. So we had only one main default feed but we then customised the shortcode by adding a keyword for each different page. For eg, to search for an iPhone –
[[ebayfeedsforwordpress feed=”https://feedurl.com?keyword=iphone” items=”5″]] – Is this somehow still possible now? Or do we need to log in to RSS Ground and add a brand new feed for every single different keyword search we want to do as that would just be unaffordable?

That’s fair enough although I don’t see why any business would want to use any of these ‘free’ themes (or even buy a premium GPL one) if you’re legally not allowed to customise the files to your liking and change the Theme/Author name so it’s not obvious to everyone that you’re using a generic template…not a great look for anyone that wants to be taken seriously. It might just be easier to build html websites from scratch for any business websites and leave the WordPress templates for amateur/hobby ones.

I’ve had completely conflicting advice on this…where can one get a definitive one? So if I wanted to run a website using one of these 100% free GPL themes, I am legally unable to change the Theme & Author Name in the style.css? And remove any license/copyright info?

I too have been experiencing the “Trying to perform an illegal action” error in recent days and I have no idea why as I have not changed any plugins or settings. I did start using Litespeed Cache a few weeks ago so I do wonder if that might be having an effect even though everything was working until a few days ago? All users have full permission so I don’t think it’s an issue with User Role permissions – and these are anonymous event submissions. I am using the latest WP 5.2.2, the latest EM 5.9.5 and the latest PHP 7.3.6. Is there any way to fix this?

It looks like all multi-variation items (where you can change the colour, amount, etc) are all appearing with this generic thumbnail – https://thumbs1.ebaystatic.com/pict/04040_0.jpg – rather than the proper thumbnail from the eBay listing. Is there some code that can be changed so that the proper thumbnail appears…maybe by removing variation duplicates or something. If not possible, is it at least possible to change the generic thumbnail that appears as it is quite large at 1600x1600px. It gets quite ugly when there are multiple of these in the feed as can be seen in the original poster’s feed link.

This has been happening on my feed for the past week or two as well where the
black hanging picture/board image seems to appear in a number of listings. It was previously taking up the whole page but the ‘max-width’ fix has at least made it nicer. Although I use the AMP for WP plugin for all of my mobile pages and the ‘max-width’ doesn’t seem to be working on this plugin. Do we need to manually update the CSS of the AMP plugin somewhere?

It should hopefully be possible to redirect to a shorter URL with a rewrite rule…I will have to spend some time to try and figure it out. With the fixed page, I only have one gift card to sell and the buyer needs to do about 3-4 clicks before purchasing it so am trying to edit the code somehow so I can fit it all on one screen.

There might also be a minor bug with the “Your Name” field as I’ve left it blank when testing. It would be good to make this a *required* field. And is it possible to make the “Terms & Conditions” checkbox, the “Personal Message” and the “Voucher Preview” on the right hand side all hidden or optional?

I want to sell gift cards for two unrelated businesses. So when Gift Card A sells, I’d like Business A to receive an email notification. Am not quite sure how to do that (apart from opening a marketplace) so thought that rather than the purchasing customer entering an email address, maybe this can be pre-filled by the admin somehow so when Business A’s card sells, Business A’s email address will automatically be entered and they then receive the email when it is purchased.

I’d love to know this too. So when Product A is sold, the email will go to [email protected] and when Product B is sold, the email will be sent to [email protected]?

Yes that’s correct. It just started suddenly when I updated to the latest version yesterday. I haven’t changed any settings so not sure why AMP is taking over the desktop as well?

SAME HERE. It seems AMP has suddenly taken over the entire website on both desktop and mobile even though “AMP Takeover” has never been changed and has always been OFF. Can this be fixed??

I’ve played around with this further and Page 2 for the category works properly only when you “Change End Point to ?amp”. So it shows like this – mysite.com/movies/page/2/?amp – this correctly shows posts in the Movie category. But in the normal amp page without the ‘?’, it shows – mysite.com/movies/amp/page/2/ – this shows posts for ALL categories. Ideally this should be fixed otherwise I’ll just have to Change End Point to ?amp.

Is there a way I can email you the link privately as the test domain is password-protected and is about to expire tomorrow? But as mentioned, this problem exists in all 4 designs. When you click on Page 2, Page 3, etc for the MOVIES category, it should show just MOVIES but it shows posts for ALL categories.
