PHP 5.6.24 here and having the same problem.

Oddly enough, when the latest WP Hide Post is activated, hover-action menu items in the Admin Dashboard don’t display like they normally do.

Deactivating WP Hide Post reverts them to normal behavior.

Tried rajneesh’s suggestion above to update hide options for missing posts, but that did not change anything.

Reinstalling the older version now until this is resolved.

Same here. This plugin doesn’t work.

Nevermind. It wasn’t clear anywhere that the description field allows html markup. All is good!
