have you tried:

Settings > Reading > Front Page Displays: A Static Page

Ok I found one solution for the “Nothing Found” problem.

Go to Appearance > Customize > Static Front Page.

It gives you two options:

Your Latest Posts
and
Static Front Page.

Select Static front page and then on the Front Page drop down menu, select which page is gonna be your Home Page.

“Nothing Found” shouldn’t come up after that because it’s a static front page.
