For me it was simply a case of updating the theme to the latest version and making sure wordpress was up to date also. I could not initially update because of a SQL timeout which was locked down by my hosting company. Had to get them to manually update it for me. After the updates all was ok. Never changed any coding. Hope this is of some use to you.
